  1. Oh shit, don't tell me Rasmus W. Ankersen is lining himself up for the job.
  2. I'll take that. As long as the loss is a narrow one at the Hawthorns.
  3. And if we had beaten Ipswich twice we would have finished second. Morale of story, don't lose six pointers!
  4. That’s true. But we’ve had an insane number of games last month. Aribo for one looks knackered. I’d rest key players (Downes especially) and play a mixture of first teamers and reserves. Once Ipswich go a couple of goals up Leeds will also have eyes on the playoffs.
  5. Can’t argue with that! I’d choose Ipswich going up over them any day. Unfortunately there’s a good chance they both will.
  6. Agreed, I don't understand all this love in for Ipswich. Some of their players seem to be thugs, and as for them being poor, plucky underdogs: Owners: Gamechanger 20 Ltd. Net worth: $10.8B That being said, their manager has done a brilliant job, and if their manager and our muppet had been swapped at the beginning of the season I reckon we'd be where they are now, and they would be lower mid-table or even flirting with relegation.
  7. They chose him, and he had just signed, so of course they believed it. On the other hand, if it had been 6 months later after dire, losing football, and they said "we have full confidence that he'll turn it around" then that's completely different, you know that it is indeed a load of bollocks (and they are probably about to fire him).
  8. Shockingly bad. And you can add that lunatic Dani "Headbutt" Osvaldo to that sorry list.
  9. We’ll lose our best players and run out of money.
  10. I agree with all of that except that I’m sure they thought we’d go up with him, tippy tappying our way with their fantastic system to the PL and then Europe. After which Rasmus could write another book on how brilliant he is.
  11. Did you enjoy yesterday’s performance? Because that’ll what you’ll be seeing week in week out if we stay in this league for any length of time.
  12. They are more likely to get injured playing than not, plus we’ve played a ridiculous number of games this last month. So I agree with some others that I don’t blame Russell resting key players for these dead rubbers. But I do blame him for everything else about how shit we are.
