  1. Cheers for clarifying. Now who is it you accused me of being before, can you remember? I went looking but couldn't find it.
  2. Jones sacked a week later fwiw. Interesting.
  3. No , I'm Jordan Sibley, head of PR and comms at the club . Have a read of the last page. Or 2 pages ago I was Lucy Pinder I think. Whichever suits.
  4. 👏 you're such a hero
  5. About 3 days ago I was agreeing with you that Cortese was a knob, now I collected his suits? No idea what people were sold at St Marys either. You lot are unhinged but I cant promise I won't revel in it.
  6. Okay mate You've nailed me. Does that mean anything I post now will carry extra weight? Shame for Sibley but I'm happy to take the kudos. Just out of interest and on a side note, at what point in your life and Saturday evening do you see a post on an internet messageboard and disagree so much with that you have to make calls to find out who it could be?
  7. Thing is mate, you're talking shite. I just think the manager who helped us get promoted might be alright. But I'm happy for you to continue to believe it if you like, I probably wouldn't encourage you to look at my post history and see me posting during games whilst this guy should be working or anything which might ruin your little illusion.
  8. Pretty sure you've accused me of being various different people over the years. Looking forward to the next one already.
  9. Well he does complain because a) he left and b) spent all summer trying to move again (I don't blame him on either of those things btw). I also don't think he's a target man because I've never been particularly impressed by him in the air. But yes, his resilience is impressive and when he's back hopefully we'll utilise him for the week or two before he probably leaves in January (as long as we get a replacement)
  10. I’m not convinced a couple of impressive turns against Liverpool suggests he’s the answer but yeah maybe. I’ve said this elsewhere but he’s got complete buy in from the squad from what I can tell and that’s a pretty good position to be in. But I’m happy to be proven wrong.
  11. Think we’d create much more if we had a striker we could confidently play into personally. Never replaced Adams qualities, especially when we missed out on Delap.
  12. Whereas your posting history on here has proven yourself to be a fascinating person with a real sense of knowledge when it comes to football.
  13. This is exactly what I wanted to discuss when I made this post btw.
  14. manager who did well wouldn’t be as liked if he didn’t do well isn’t the zinger you think it is. Clever clogs. Just for full clarity, I do not think RM should be or will be manager next season if we get relegated 👍 I do think this season is still up for grabs though and I do also think RM might be the best man for the job on that front but we are in desperate need of someone who can score goals at this level and I don’t think that changes if we get a new manager.
  15. Keep posting the same thing mate. Definitely proving yourself not to be angry.
  16. Yeah, see, this seems to be a regular thing, just focusing on the now. Which is fine because it’s obviously the most important part but there was a pretty massive rebuilding job to be done last year both on and off the field and the manager was a part of that which does seem to be forgotten or dismissed as ‘lucky’.
  17. I’m not sure because despite popular belief I don’t work there but all the players do seem to be behind him don’t you think? I get that people think it’s a PR drive etc but players don’t need to be so effusive about the manager or the work they do, it’s not exactly cliche praise in the media from THB this week is it? We also don’t hear bad vibes from the club like we have in previous years. Last time we were getting related the club captain was actively talking about wanting European football before the end of the season, players were leaving on loan because of fall outs with the managers. There’s no real evidence of that now (ABK aside). Maybe I’m wrong and when he goes we’ll hear how terrible it was.
  18. I don’t think you need PR training or to be ‘Sibs’ to know that you probably shouldn’t be using the word mong pal. Just a normal human being should do it.
  19. Mong ffs. Really good stuff.
  20. Talking of things that are definite would you like me to drag up the posts from you stating we definitely wouldn’t get promoted last season again? You’re not exactly the greatest of minds fella.
  21. 😂 Other than working for the club or post on here for a reaction is it not just possible that I think the guy has done a good job and that sacking him might be a bit short sighted and not be the immediate answer to bad results?
  22. I post on here because I’m paid too and I’m Lucy Pinder, I think.
  23. Aww, well done you. Getting angry on a message board on the internet is definitely the best way to show that.
  24. You guys get angry way too easily. That’s a problem.
  25. Interesting debate whether the club should be run to appease fans or whether the day to day people at the club should be appeased. Think there’s no doubt sacking Martin now would appease fans and make vibes in the stands better but by all accounts the people at the club and training ground quite clearly like the man and his work.
