Yes probably. It’s not just a money thing, it’s education and opportunity too. Better coaches in theory, better players around you in theory and better standard of games to be playing. Being kicked out of a cup competition you’ve broken the rules in before a ball is kicked is not severe. Take out the value of the game (which was bizarrely our public defence) and it’s pretty reasonable given docked points wouldn’t have been suitable for that instance.

I actually think the opposite. Shows how highly City rate him. He’s not seen as an easy profit and a trading player for them just yet. He’s probably the best young English striker around right now.
