  1. Talking of blind, you still predicting things that don’t happen?
  2. For all those points dropped because of his tactical decisions that led to his Forest side getting less points than we did last season. Anyway, this is dull.
  3. He also took Forest up via the playoffs which you would have criticised right?
  4. Anyway, my overall point from last night still remains: People who are advocating Steve Cooper as our next manager in one thread shouldn’t be pointing out all the flaws of Martin for the benefit of Leicester fans in another.
  5. I think you’ve missed the point here which is pretty stupid in itself. You said we shouldn’t have needed the playoffs. And yes recruitment is the number one factor.
  6. Nobody said everything was enjoyable either. You’ll do well to find a flawless 46 game season. I don’t agree with the entitled attitude that we should have walked the league or whatever you’re suggesting. We were bottom the year before so on paper the play offs were always a possibility, as they will be next season. Just so happened that Ipswich pipped us and we had to and did get the better of Leeds. I find the rewriting of history bizarre in regards to Martin and last season. This year, I get the frustration although I don’t agree with it, but last season wasn’t the disaster/failure some like to pretend it was.
  7. I’d rather be a fanboy than pretending I didn’t enjoy the season we got promoted.
  8. I’d probably avoid getting into a battle of naming specific games if I were you. He’s got 28 wins to choose from.
  9. Might be worth showing the Swansea fan that we went up and they got worse too.
  10. Think if any Leicester fans did bother to read this forum they would be a little perplexed as to why Martin is such a bad appointment in one thread but the manager they hounded out themselves this year is being favoured to take over here by some in another
  11. Hilarious post and then no follow up from someone who absolutely knew Rohl was the new manager a few weeks back btw.
  12. Brooks and Adams get in our team ahead of Onuachu and Sulemana all day long. It’s a piss poor selection to choose from though.
  13. As has been pointed out on here quite a few times before now, in the last 9 or 10 years only Daniel Farke has had Championship experience and gone on to win the division. Left field clever clever appointments are actually quite..clever. No idea if Still will get the job, if he’s the right man or if we’ll be successful but shouting old school isn’t the clever point you think it is. You simply do not had to have had experience to be successful.
  14. Have you tried looking beyond the ginger hair and football manager bit? That would help and you'd come across less weird.
  15. Think you’d do well to consistently be handed head coach jobs at the ages of 24 -32 if people around you don’t consider you to be a leader.
  16. It’s not about predicting we won’t go up. That’s a reasonable prediction. Its comments like ‘I would rather we have two seasons in the Championship’ and ‘can afford a grace period’ etc. It’s all well and good you saying that now but for that to happen we’ll lose circa 15 plus games next season. (WBA the only side outside the play offs this year to lose less than 16 btw). Or we’ll lose in a big play off tie somewhere along the line. So when those things happen, when we go a month without winning or we lose a few games in a row, I do not expect to see you, FF or anyone else suggesting now that we need to rebuild or rest moaning that we conceded to Callum Paterson or bottled it in the play offs.
  17. What do you think happens when we write off a promotion challenge? Same thing that happened when we sacked Martin in December and wrote off the rest of the season….games will still be played and for us to write off a promotion challenge that means lots of games will be lost. Grace period lasts as long as people stop enjoying turning up to games and not winning them. This season how many was that for Juric? Next season it will be less. You do not just write off a season and everyone sits quietly watching us finish mid table. Russell Martin had a bad month a couple of seasons ago and people hated it and some of that shit stuck. Same will happen next season.
  18. Aaah, okay. Yeah, can see what you mean. Not convinced it's not just a 2nd language thing as he's pretty adament before "we need to be better" but yeah one for people to judge for themselves I think and then inevitable he'll go anyway. 19. Interview I heard on Solent he was talking about hoping to win more games with us next season. Not that I'm expecting him to be here next season but it was far from confirming he wouldn't be around. What interview did you hear?
  20. We've had the same amount of successful tackles after 55 minutes against Everton that we did the whole of last week. The only difference is the opposition on the day. We are set up exactly the same, same intention, same ambition, same plan, whatever way you want to put it, we are not doing anything different other than conceding. If you wish to believe City hit the bar, or missed big golden chances because of our effort then good for you, but it's not true.
  21. He's helped at least two sides out of relegation trouble in fairness to him from the little I know so not sure about that. Nothing that necessarily relates to the position we'll be in next season though, agreed.
  22. The only thing that is different is the other team have scored. If that had happened in 2 or 3 of the 26 shots we gave up last week people would have questioned the effort then too.
  23. We're an absolute shadow of the team Martin left us. For both good and bad reasons.
  24. Not playing any different to last weeks "proper performance" btw.
  25. I actually think you either walk in on your first day as a commanding man or you don't and previous experience wouldn't help with that. But fair enough, different opinions. I have concerns over Still, mainly stemming from his Reims team being an utter bore fest to watch a couple of years back and his MNF appearance being a bit too convenient and odd for me but even with a lack of experience, like you, I'm fully willing to embrace him and give him a chance.
