  1. Worse case and we go down, of those we are likely to keep, how would you line up? For me, ----------McCarthy----------- New--Yoshida--New--Targett ---Stephens / Reed-- PEH--- ------------JWP--------------- Sims----------------Redmond ------------ Austin ------------ Long, Gallagher, Reed/Stephens, McQueen, New Keeper, Davis & Bednarek Young with not a great deal of experience in there - Austin would/should score for fun (providing he can stay fit) in the championship. A championship experienced CB would be vital.
  2. Difficult one.. He's done absolutely nothing wrong to deserve to be dropped (FWIW I think FF knows he's been sh!te and understands this), but I still think, if FF can't find his form this is a position we need to strengthen in (not urgently though). For a club our size, we have 2 keepers who are both too good to be a no2 and probably not good enough to be no1 (of a top 10 team if that's where we want to be).
  3. I don't specifically know about this part, all I was told was pretty much as I said (we were left with either MP or FDB, who we'd previously decided, the summer before, he wasn't for us). However, history shows, for one reason or another, under Les' leadership we like to appoint managers who are not at a club... so I wouldn't be surprised.
  4. This is pretty much it - From what I'm led to believe the players do like him and he has the backing from the dressing room (unlike Puel and to a much smaller degree Koeman). Unfortunately that doesn't make him a successful manager and surly results show this.
  5. MP was pretty much are only option. We decided to turn down Silva, as we put all our eggs in the basket of Tuchel. When Tuchel rejected us, MP was the only one left and we panicked when we thought Palace may take him.
  6. Looking at the only feasible reasons: 1. No realistic / better alternatives - Our own fault, he should have gone 3 months ago when we would have had a good chance to replace him. 2. The board (Les) do not want to admit they made a mistake and are letting their 'ego' get in the way of business decisions. 3. The Board believe that he is the right man to take us forward and that he's just been unlucky All point to incompetency at board level.
  7. All comes down to us not winning our home games, now we’re in this mess.
  8. I think it’ll be out of (in no order): West Brom Stoke Us Huddersfield Palace Who drops out of those 3 will be down to who is manager at the end of the season (I.e at us and WBA). If MP and Pardew are here for the next 3 games, it’ll be us, WBA and Stoke.
  9. May as well keep Tadic in there if that’s the case. Boufal, Redmond and Gabbi would all offer much more going forwards. They’d be able to play off GC/CA.
  10. No it’s not.... he’s said 2 forwards, not specifically 442. We do play a 10, but that’s usually a CM or Tadic, who has no pace and offers very little in behind and is best on the left wing.
  11. When did the OP mention 442 btw? 4231 with Gabbi / Boufal / Redmond in the 10 would be an improvement. Or The diamond,352 or 343 (we don’t currently have the CBs to play 3 at the back yet though).. a number of differ ways to try and change your approach to games.
  12. Fair enough, if that’s your opinion. Personally, I think if we’re going to get the best out of Carrillo we need to play someone in the ‘10’ with a bit of pace who is willing to run in behind and play off him. If that’s Gabbi, Redmond, of Boufal I don’t mind, but given our remaining fixtures (most away from home) and our current position, we need to set up to win these next 2 games.
  13. The only table that matters is the one that has us 17th, 1 point above the drop zone. We need wins to stay up, especially against the teams around us.
  14. Not at all. If we’d been winning our home games I could understand this argument. However we haven’t and we’ve left ourselves in a position where we need to win these ‘6 pointers’. I’m sorry, but given our last couple of fixtures, 2 points from Newcastle and West Ham will not be enough.
  15. How many have we won? This is a very winnable game, one of only a few we have left, but no, let’s play for a draw again Burnley were there for the taking, we were lucky to scrape a draw.
  16. This for me as well, but he’ll go 4231
  17. You’re a strange individual. You will honestly look for anything to argue with (are you seriously happy with how we’ve played this season!?).
  18. In line with the OP, off the top of my head I’d go Hoddle
  19. And has been utter ****e since
  20. I can only assume that the odds are based on the fact that everyone is expecting us to sack MP and improve (our squad, managed correctly, should easily escape).

    Ralph Krueger

Pretty much agree with all of this, word for word. Especially the NC bit. Kat / Gao (mostly Kat) need to take a look at themselves as well. Unfortunately Kat doesn’t/didnt really give a sh!t.

    Claude Puel

A lot of unhappy Leicester fans on social media.... Seems now Puel has had a chance to implement his style, they understand why we wanted rid.
  23. They should have been without their captain, Lascelles. The Ref/Linesman completely bottled giving a blatant free kick & subsequent red card in the last min of their game last night.

    Ralph Krueger

In his defence he has done what he was brought in to do. Les Reed, Vice-chair, is responsible for on field matters. Ralph isn’t the best chairman, but he’s not the worst. Perhaps he could be more vocal, who knows what goes on in board room. If I had to pick one to go, it’d be Les.
  25. The poor bloke has to stand up top with no one around him for 90 minutes. He’s not the best, in fact he’s pretty average, but he’s miles better than playing long/gabbi as a lone striker and he has improved us. Had Austin been fit I suspect we’d have picked up 2 or 3 more wins than we currently have.
