The CB’s have looked poor in a 433, 4222 (or 424), 352, 522, 343... theyre just not very good. Constant simple mistakes from all of them. The manager can not be held accountable for that.

The whole team, ings aside, would struggle in the championship. Ralph isn’t perfect, but I actually don’t see what we can do at this point. I don’t even think Big Sam would keep us up.

Agree. He’s underrated imo. Nothing spectacular, but does the hard graft and actually gives us half a threat in the final 3rd. I’d rather we give slattery a run out then reverting back to PEH, JWP, OR which just doesn’t work.

This is absolutely spot on. You need a mixture of experience and youth. Currently, we have a relatively young, inexperienced squad and it shows with our inability to hold a lead or shut up shop. We simply should have signed Cahill in the summer, our strategy of only targeting players under 25? Is a ridiculous one and it will / has cost us.

Player I’ve had my eye on for a while is playing tonight on Sky... Romaine Sawyers would be a perfect fit for us along side someone like Romeu. Wasn’t sure if he would be able to make the step up, but from this season it’s clear he is. Unfortunately feels like we’ve missed the boat on that one though.
