Catching up on the past few days of this thread is quite literally the most depressing way to start the weekend.

Cortese was one shrewd bugger, he certainly knew how to strike a deal.

According to 442 stats zone PEH was the top passer in the match completing 75/85 passes. The top 5 passers were all saints: PEH, Bertrand, Clasie, Yoshida and Soares 8 of the top 10 passers were Saints players Overall, Saints completed 446 passes to WBA 275

I thought we were magnificent today throughout the team, but were ultimately undone by a couple of individual errors/lapses and a bit of a masterclass in finishing by Zlatan. The boys can all feel very proud, but especially cedric, yoshida, ward prowse, gabbiadini, redmond, romeu and bertrand. Proud to be a saints fan and proud of the display the boys put in today.

That's a pretty awesome stat! It just shows how successful we have been, yet staying under the radar. This team deserves more recognition than it currently receives.

Apart from Puel's lack of experience managing outside of France, what is everyones beef with him? His track record, both in the league and in europe, seems very good.

I think billy bullsh!tters get found out pretty quick - this one stinks.

For me Puel has a point to prove as its a step up, plus it sounds like he plays a style we want to see here and improve/bring through the youngsters.

Lol, somebody's hungry. I'd agree though, the rat burgers on offer outside are minging to say the least! Id definitely be up for a little variety with different cuisines. I can't see it happening though as they think that they've got us nailed down with the average punter wanting nothing more than a flaccid burger and chips.
