Typical Chelsea negotiation: Southampton - "We want £50m for Lavia" Chelsea - "Would you take £60m?" I like their style.

We're looking at potentially Amo-Omeyaw (16), Bogarde (19), Charles (19), Edozie (20), Alcaraz (20), Livramento? (20), Mara (21), Sulemana? (21) and Bazunu (21) as players getting regular minutes for us next season. I'm just a little concerned we haven't learnt any lessons from last year. Is it reasonable to expect these players to be consistent week in week out which is what will be necessary for a promotion push?

They'll be forced to pay the money now to save face.
-
That's pretty tragic. The chairman realises they just need to pay the asking price don't they?
-
Not bad. I think we actually looked the better side but my god do we need a striker. Need to get the witchdoctor backl to sort this home form.
-
The problem with Southampton is they always try and walk it in.

You're just mocking him now with your double posts.

Top goalscorer and 5th top assister for a promoted club. Team of the year. 24 years old with 2 years left on his contract. I'd love to know the last player with these credentials to transfer for sub-£10m. His current market value is £15.4m and that's without taking into account the fact we won't need to sell him and will see him as a real asset in the Championship. Burnley are a Premier League club now. We as a Championship club aren't going to let them have a bargain. They need to pay up or find a new target.

KWP should have just fouled the runner 😂, they were fouling us all game without repercussion.

Plenty of positive patterns of play in the final third but possibly lacking a clinical striker. I saw plenty to be optimistic about regarding Shea Charles and Will Smallbone was a positive influence again. The commentator on the stream highlighted that he had bulked up during his time on loan and he was strong in challenges and defended well today. Lovely through ball down the right for Tella too. We gave away our customary cheap goal at the end there which was nice of us. This tippy-tappy at the back is going to be infuriating, at least with our current set of defenders. Goalkeeper remains undoubtably our weakest position.
-
That's a familiar sight.

The link up play is good overall in the final third but our build up play at the back was suicidal at times with Bournemouth playing such a high line. I think it's still clear GK is our weakest department, closely followed by CB.
-
Our tempo is painfully slow. Bournemouth pressing us very easily.

I'm sure you could find that if looked back through some old Man City academy videos!

What with their game getting cancelled, due to deciding to schedule a friendly in Thailand during monsoon season 😂, and the exhaustion that must come from crossing time zones, Leicester's trip so far has been a bit counterproductive. Unless they had commercial commitments, surely they should be prioritising getting Maresca's system coached into them? Like us, I imagine they'll need some games to fully comprehend their system so losing a pre-season match won't be ideal for them.

No chance of promotion with this keeper..
-
Armstrong and Smallbone have been all over the pitch and seem to fit this system well. Mara has been very disappointing. These cheap goals we concede every game need to stop.
-
I'm very happy for him.
-
He truly was an awful referee. Made Mark Clattenburg seem competent (almost).

Thanks 👍

I can't watch because the forgot password feature on the website isn't working 🤬

If he's first choice next season, we won't be near the top 2.

All about those $$$ Livramento leaving???
