I'd be quite satisfied with a Romeu + Ward-Prowse partnership but we will need another midfielder. Personally, I'd love a more creative midfielder than Hoijbjerg; somebody physical, full of energy but with a bit of vision to help transition the ball forward.

All the Valladolid fans are convinced he's destined for greatness. This could be an excellent investment.

He's strong in the tackle and usually shows good commitment for the team (although I thought he lacked professionalism as captain publicy stating he wanted to leave while we were still fighting for guaranteed safety) but personally I'm surprised he became the coveted player in our ranks. His decision making and inaccuracy of passing always left us vulnerable. I guess his short contract alerted the bargain hunters. With 1 year left and as a player that I've often considered frustrating, I'm very happy with this deal. Hopefully our replacement can add a little more creativity and assurance to our midfield.
