Since they won the league. That puts them above most teams this century. Reputation improves when you win things and regresses when you stop winning things.

I think they've always had grand delusions about their place in world football. I get the impression they think they're on par with your Tottenham's and Leicester's but haven't won anything of note since 1995. I reckon I've seen us achieve more in my lifetime and that's saying something 😂 Fact is, you can't keep saying you're a top club when there's an entire generation of people now, anyone under about 35, that considers them nothing more than your average prem team making up the numbers because they've never seen them achieve anything. History means **** all after quarter of a century! Ask Blackburn. I've always had them on par with the likes of Newcastle and West Ham. Mid table, established prem team that can give anyone a game on their day. Never going to get top 4 though.

I haven't rated him for about 2 years now. He slows us down and always looks for the easy back pass. He doesn't trust his pace and dribbling anymore. IMO it's a primary position we should be upgrading. Look how effective an energetic, dribbling full back can be in this system.

I have to eat my words. I said Leeds were shocking in the first half and we were surely going to win. I should have seen our capitulation coming. We're so mentally weak and Ralph keeps picking the wrong teams. I've never known a team like ours. We looked like genuine contenders for 7th in the new year. Since then we've had to endure a 9-0 repeat and the worst form in our history. I've gone from embarrassed of this team to proud and back to embarrassed in the space of 14 months. The highs have not been worth the lows during Ralph's tenure for me. I'm willing to support him because he saved us from relegation and I like his passion. When we're good we're excellent to watch but he needs to learn how to manage games. Being far and away the team that dropped the most points during games for two seasons running now is highlighting a real weakness in his strategy. Unless these heavy defeats and score reversals stop, surely we won't just continue to be content? The players at our disposal are capable of at least doing that.

1 goal and 1 assist in 16 games. He's on £65,000 a week. That might be satisfactory to you but his lack of effort and lack of contribution winds me right up.
