  1. I'd have to say no. Nor Ryan Ashford either.
  2. Very good question, though as it's supposed to be a resumption of the original adidas deal (and there was no particular reason for those to be in-house either) I suspect we'll still be selling only from the club shops and online. Difficult to tell whether that was a Cortese preference or the way Katharina wants to do things, the 2014/15 thing was such a rush job I doubt they wanted to mass market, and this season's could still be the same contract. Whether the club decides to "go global" for the next deal is another matter.
  3. So did mine, but it was an XL and the Climacool was a L (though that might have been because I waited until it was £20 and I was skinnier by then).
  4. The little shoulder triangles are a side effect of having a straight stripe pattern on a tailored front panel shape that isn't straight - basically on larger sized shirts those triangles will be stripes all the way down as they won't be cut off by a red side panel halfway down. The badge doesn't "fall" between two stripes, it's placed across both for design purposes and is in that area as that's the natural position for the badge. Shame that the template always has the brand logo in the middle though, it looks weird with the badge to the side. Also, there's a load of detailing on the collar, almost certainly black with a red/white mesh effect, you just can't see it in the illustration. Oh, and the white flashes at the bottom go all the way around the back. I'll be interested to see if we use the same template with a red panel on the back if we get to Europe - and if we sell it...
  5. Better hope they're climacool like the 2013/14 home rather than the 2013/14 Formotion away then...
  6. I'm fairly sure we won't be unveiling the away kit tomorrow, but you never know.
  7. I like it, suspect there's a bit of mesh on the collar and possibly a navy tartan or mesh effect on the shoulders - the other photoshop is annoyingly lacking in detail collarwise.
  8. Nice designs anyway. I'm vaguely annoyed, I just downloaded the various templates and (having just downloaded a psd dll to make it work) the psd files aren't compiled into groups in Paint.net so the templates are in an enormous mass of adidas styles and it's completely impossible to even cut and paste the useful ones. Oh well, meh.
  9. Bit late, given that we already know what they look like though.
  10. I was just sodding about with one, as it happens, but not getting anywhere with it so have just deleted it. Could pop off to one of the FM boards and download some templates, but then it'll just look like the mockup we've already seen.
  11. Based on previous big reveals it'll either be 9am, on the hour from 5-7pm... or ten seconds after the Echo deadline at about half 11 at night. I think we can rule the last one out now wotsisface has gone.
  12. I've already seen the calculations elsewhere - it will take around 2-4 years of Italy winning it and England failing to get past the QF stage for this to happen. The +4 and +5 stuff up there is nonsense, England loses 7 points just from Man U's 2011 final appearance dropping off the coefficient this season and they're still comfortably ahead after that. Worst-case scenario: what’s the earliest the Premier League could realistically lose its fourth Champions League place? http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11945/9765327/premier-league-to-lose-champions-league-spot-coefficients-explained To wildly predict the future, England’s fourth place will not be affected for the 2015/16 season, should be protected for the 2016/17 season, but may come under threat for the 2017/18 season - but only if Italian clubs consistently out-perform English clubs across both European competitions for the rest of this season and next season.
  13. You can't count, stevegrant. 1 Liverpool A 2 Villa A 3 Man C H 4 Arsenal A (BT Sport) 5 Man U H 6 Chelsea H 7 Man U A 8 Newcastle A 9 Swansea H 10 Liverpool H 11 Chelsea A 12 Spurs H (BT Sport) 13 Villa H (BT Sport) and maybe 14 Man City A
  14. We got paid for the minimum 10 matches last season as per the contract, even though we weren't on 10 times. This season we'll be shown 13 times, 14 if the City match is chosen. That's not THAT much more money - here's last year's chart showing it's around £750k per extra match (there's a flat MOTD highlights fee in there too). We'd make £1.2m more per place above 8th compared to last season too.
  15. Although not for long, as it's tomorrow.
  16. The home shirt seems to be basically this in red and white with a different collar: And the collar is almost certainly a red/white/black version of this collar:
  17. Sort of, that collar is wrong, it doesn't even look like the collar on the leak they used to create the photoshop. THIS is what we're having (again): And while I think of it, here's Valencia's new away kit, the shoulder panels are in the same place as on the green away - which MIGHT have a bit more detail than is obvious from the leaked picture - there looks like there could be a sort of tartan in the navy pattern on the Saints version...
  18. http://m.premierleague.com/content/dam/premierleague/site-content/News/publications/handbooks/premier-league-handbook-2014-15.pdf] So technically yes... as it only says it "may be worn" and doesn't say it has to be worn for the whole match.
  19. If I was trying for multiple subtle in-jokes I'd certainly use some fancy striped paper, especially if the world and his dog had already seen a very convincing leaked design and I was trying to raise SOME doubt in their heads.
  20. Usually around September when next season's designs start getting leaked. It's going to be a humdinger too, assuming Saints don't announce the 16/17 kit deal before then, I get to post literally EVERY KIT RELEASED on the off-chance we'll be using that brand. Oh the humanity.
  21. Remember, £150k "relatively small in terms of the overall budget". Which means they've just spent ONE-SIXTH of the value of Newport's entire budget for the season just getting a manager in. You'd HOPE they didn't have the cash handy - or are they already selling 2015/16 season tickets?
  22. Shearer left in '93, so he's out, but for outright strikers Beattie, Pahars, arguably Lambert in the first Prem season back up, even Kevin Phillips is in with a shout if we're talking about being pretty decent for about a year, Henri Camara maybe too. If we're referencing goalscorers from attacking midfield positions, erm, Le Tissier, arguably Lallana. Egil? 1998 era Kevin Davies is on the periphery of this discussion and left too quickly, only having around the same kind of impact as Rodriguez over a similar timescale. I will accept that he's probably better than Dowie, Moody, Evans, Hirst, M Hughes and Shipperley, Osvaldo's Saints record, Billy Sharp and anyone who only played for us outside the Prem. He's got a ton of potential, but aside from top scoring last season and being "pretty good" he hasn't really done all that much to be claimed "best in 20 years".
  23. Anyway, as I can't see it on this thread, the bloke is Tom Davis (@BigTomD) and don't be surprised if the new kit launch somehow incorporates footage of him playing office golf with Matt Le Tiss using striped golf balls.
  24. Funny and probably true.
