I think Caulker is hugely overrated, but probably has potential to be better than Hooiveld or Yoshida so would be a decent enough signing if we keep Lovren and Fonte.

Our entire style under Pochettino suited Lambert, press high up, win the ball near the opposing goal, hardly any running required - he profited hugely at first, THEN he lost the ability to be in the right place and any remaining sharpness, and had to drop deeper which was why he scored fewer and Rodriguez who was running beyond him scored more. From the 3 matches of him I've seen, he looks like he'd be a decent mobile target man. Though from the hours of footage of various lesser-known south american talents I'd be worried he wasn't going to integrate well, or quickly. For every De La Cruz there's a Delgado.
