Haidara and Szoboszlai are regulars. Hwang passed through to Wolves without doing much for Leipzig, and Wolf is now at Swansea. I think the model has fringe benefits but anyone thinking it will transform our club is likely to be disappointed
-
The other thing @Matthew Le God omitted is that Leipzig have been averaging just one transfer per season from the RB group. Hardly transformational
-
Leipzig missed out on Daka and Mpewu

Lengthy shoulder injury

Only a year left on contract so should get a nice discount

I felt positive about last summer as well. Hopefully this time it will be justified

I reckon he'll do well in a different system. He was great under Hughes
-
I was there too although it says a lot about my memory that I can't remember half the stuff you mention! Great turnaround win though
-
Unless we're selling KWP
-
Some great players on show there, Niemi, Beattie, Delap 😀 Couple of nice passes from the much maligned Fernandes in there too.
-
I'd agree he didn't do this enough

I'm sold -
Appreciate it's old news now but I'm confused about why he'd be a better fit for us than West Ham
-
That must be so hard for you. Definitely worth throwing the women's game under the bus for
-
You post about this sort of stuff a lot, it seems like you're pretty bothered by it
-
Women's football is only where it is because the FA banned it for decades. There's no reason it shouldn't be like tennis with broadly equal interest, it just needs a push so more people get to know the players and so that more young girls start playing and raising the standard. I find it hilarious that people get so butthurt about it - it really doesn't impinge on you if you decide not to click on the articles
-
Is it me or are women 50% of the population?
-
Leicester may have had success that we can only dream of but they're actually quite similar in the sense of having a great few years after promotion and then coming down to earth. Perhaps the owners will pump in more money to keep them going but it may be they can't keep pulling rabbits out of hats in the transfer market
-
Thank you for that information

Sport Republic approach to goalkeepers:
-
I'm interested in how these buy back clauses will work. Can the transfer back be easily triggered and the player sold on immediately for a profit? Or is is more an agreed price subject to the player agreeing terms / wanting to go back? If the latter then it puts us in a pretty strong position, because City will have to want him back and promise first team football if they are to tempt the player

Michael Obafemi - Official: Signs for Swansea

Sometimes players have to move in order to develop. It seems that not being able to get into Swansea's team was the kick up the arse he needed to buckle down -

I do hope you're wrong because I'd much prefer the next manager to have some sort of track record of success. Promoting number twos is a massive shot in the dark
