  1. If someone said "I've spent £20,000 on food this year", would you assume that they were just talking about their big weekly shops at Tesco or across all food outlets?
  2. Che is decent
  3. I'd like to keep Che but he only has two years left on his contract. If we're far apart on wage demands then we might need to sell to maximise his value
  4. This is right - it will all hinge on whether KWP wants to go
  5. There's a difference though between supporting a player who just missed a few chances and one whose off the ball effort was simply not up to scratch
  6. With one year left on his contract, I could well believe that Lyon and Saints might agree a deal. Whether the player would agree to come is another matter
  7. That was incredible close control
  8. Indeed, that is how we signed Danny Ings
  9. FandabEdozie
  10. I don't think the model is inherently unstable. We might sell a couple of players each summer but we can still keep the core group together
  11. If we can get McAtee on loan then I think that would cover us and we can spend money on a striker
  12. And after we played Djenepo at left back all last season, when will he learn?
  13. This does feel a bit like when we tried to sign Harry Kane. Why would City sell rather than loan him out?
  14. I can't help thinking that Broja and Delap both having contracts until 2026 puts us in a weak position
  15. Both these things can be true right? I can't see us waiting until the end of the window. We need a striker too much. Broja has a contract until 2026 so really he might just have to respect Chelsea's wishes. Or we take him on loan.
  16. He was a regular for England for a decent period of time and although he didn't quite excel at that level he was solid enough
  17. That's nowhere near as good as Carillo's 11 in 998! 🤯
  18. Most of those players had serious injury problems, which Lingard hasn't. Then you've got Cleverly, who was never close to the player Lingard is, Defoe, who was playing well at a much older age than Lingard, and Alli, who might be the most similar but has had a much worse career dip and never did as much for England as Lingard did
  19. Come now, he did a decent job for England for quite a period of time even if he wasn't quite at the level we might have wanted. He's definitely a good Premier League player even if he's not quite Champions League level
  20. Seems a top lad who is being well advised
  21. Isn't this MLG's vision of journalism - direct quotes or there's no story?
  22. Broja is only 20 though. So much more potential
