With one year left on his contract, I could well believe that Lyon and Saints might agree a deal. Whether the player would agree to come is another matter

I don't think the model is inherently unstable. We might sell a couple of players each summer but we can still keep the core group together

If we can get McAtee on loan then I think that would cover us and we can spend money on a striker

And after we played Djenepo at left back all last season, when will he learn?

This does feel a bit like when we tried to sign Harry Kane. Why would City sell rather than loan him out?

I can't help thinking that Broja and Delap both having contracts until 2026 puts us in a weak position

Both these things can be true right? I can't see us waiting until the end of the window. We need a striker too much. Broja has a contract until 2026 so really he might just have to respect Chelsea's wishes. Or we take him on loan.
