£12m on Transfermarkt, only signed a new contract 6 months ago though
-
Two sources have reported along these lines. It's very far from watertight, but when we're trying to read the runes, we can lower the probability that he will join
-
Not an exact answer to your question but there are a lot of supporting players on this list https://www.football365.com/news/ranking-premier-league-club-percentage-of-goals-scored-by-top-scorer-2021-22-ronaldo-son

Good strikers are more expensive than other positions, and more in demand. That means we have to wait until later in the window for prices to drop or for players to give up on bigger clubs coming in for them. It sucks that it disrupts the start of the season but it's just the way it is for every club our size
-
I know you have connections but it's not the first time I've seen a falling out suggested, so I'm wondering who's feeding it to journalists and why
-
I'd suggest that while there wasn't a visible falling out as far as the club was concerned, Broja didn't like the way Ralph dealt with him and had no intention of coming back
-
Kalajdzic also seems to be high on our list but he's waiting to see if he gets a better offer
-
Armstrong and Che were both running down their contracts and a fair bit older than Delap
-
To be honest my memory is that they thought he was decent but needed game time
-
He's taking a lot of stick from Spurs fans, but there are also some suggestions that he just needs to get his confidence back to play more positively
-
We really had a thing for over the hill strikers didn't we
-
I definitely think AWB is ripe for rehabilitation - tactically United have been a joke and he'll thrive in a better organised team
-
None of us knows but I think he'll go next summer and we're looking at blooding his replacement now
-
What if he simply doesn't want to sign? He'll be looking for a move to a Champions League club
-
Well I'm more interested in whether his all round game is good enough for the Premier League. You can generally find someone to knock in the pens
-
Five of his goals last season were penalties, though 16 goals in 30 games still isn't bad

These ones are better to be fair:

I'll admit I was worried about Pelle -

I can already see the Mane-like pile-on when he has a couple of erratic games -

I still think Villa are looking for a better quality of player regardless of the fact they already have good personnel in that position. I'm excited to watch Aribo and think he can come good but his stats are not that amazing in a weak league. He'll need time to up his game, like Armstrong did -

Maybe he's quite good but not that good? I see him being a bit like Stuart Armstrong for us - he won't get a big move but he'll be a good player for us. Hopefully -
He can't go too hard on the club because he'll lose his privileged access, it's as simple as that. Probably the same for leaking transfer stories that the club doesn't want out
-
I don't think it needs to be a five or ten year plan - one big sale next summer and we've paid this summer's transfer fees. Keep things rolling with investment in the right players and we're sustainable. Perhaps more interesting question is what happens if we get a really big sale. Buy more expensive youngsters or buy an established player or two?
-
It's been happening for as long as I've been a Saints for sure. But especially likely under a "system" manager like Ralph who needs time to embed his methods in the players
