  1. Asministration is INEVITABLE if we go down, the club CANNOT survive on crowds of less than 10k. OUr fanbase is very fickle and won't turn up to watch us play Hereford, Yeovil, Carlisle etc , that is a FACT Waiting is not the only option, it is quite easy to make Lowe and Wildes positions untenable. Anyway, this thread is about administration, which we are heading for full steam, regardless of who is CHairman. The question is whether it would be better to take the -10 this season or next.
  2. I think in addition to this...... .... just kidding, well not actually, does anyone have an email for a relevent person at Barclays who could be CC'd
  3. lol, just what I thought.
  4. Exactly, the board would be loving it. The reasons for me not being arsed to organise the boycott is simple, silly sniping from alot of the younger fans who understanably, cannot see how effective a boycott can be, probably from not being around in the Branfoot days. I had to give the manager of Yates numbers of how many extra staff he wanted by the end of play today, not only that but I had to pay for them extra staff out of my own pocket, with me only getting the money back if the numbers turned up. Saints fans will always fight between each other, no different to other fans from other teams, commitees and organistations don't exist and rarely do well, for every member of TSA, SISA, Saints Trust etc etc who supported their aims, there were ten times as many who didn't agree. Spontaneous protests are the most effective. Now for my own bit in glory.... it was against Ipswich that the front rows were being sat down by the stewards, the chants of "Stand Up if you love the Saints" ringed out, I tweaked it and started singing " Stand up if you want Lowe out " , soon a few others were joining in, then a few more, then after about 5 minutes, the whole stadium was on their feet. There is no point in any organisation. I see the organiser of the march is now signing off his posts etc as " on behalf of Demonstration against the running of SFC " There is no ' on behalf of ' , everyone has different opinions, in the words of Jimmy Greaves, footballs a funny old game. The one 'good' thing about the marches to the ground is that they unify fans, or at least the ones on it... if that is the aim then fair enough, but I get the feeling that the aim is to get rid of Lowe and Wilde ( that's my aim ) and marching to the ground is pointless if that is your aim. The marches to the ground should be used to gather people together and come up with new ways of putting the pressure on.
  5. Not knocking anyone for going on it, good luck to them and I hope they take heart from it!!! I am simply having my opinion on how ineffective it will be. In the same way that people who disagree with boycotts etc do. Someone could quite easily shut me up and give me some examples of how it will be effective in removing Lowe and Wilde from office. Just one would probably be enough to shut me up.
  6. Fair enough if that is the case. Point I am making is what are peoples motives for marching? Do they believe that Lowe will leave as a result of it? Are they doing it because they 'might as well' as they go to the game at the point? Do they just want to have their say? So far, I have asked and asked people for just ONE example of how this will be effective in ridding Saints of Lowe.
  7. No harm done at all, everyone has their right to do whatever they want, but people need to realise that it won't achieve it's goal, which I am led to believe is Lowe and Wilde leaving. Lowe in all honesty will see the protest as a good thing due to the extra revenue in.
  8. You felt the need to open a thread and express your opinion, and I am having mine. So what is childish? Dear oh dear. You said the march will be more effective. Give me an example, just ONE example on how it will be effective in ridding SFC of Lowe. Go on, ONE, surely not that hard is it?
  9. Recieved this from the 'organiser' of the March.... After reading the recent posts on saints web forums, it had started to really annoy me. sorry stu but your there saying all this crap about me ben and tom? what have we done? saying we just want to get our mugs on tv? get it right! were trying to save our club from not even being around! and you want to start saying all that? i am fully supportive of the march away and it will have an impact, but i for one, will not be attending anymore due to recent coments made by you. at first you slated what we were doing and said it was a waste of time.... you say that to the 1000+ fans that were there and also to the ones who will support the march on the 21st. good luck to you with your march. on behalf of " demonstration against the running of sfc" Oh dear, I did actually respect what these kids were trying to do, until I read the last bit " on behalf of " lol How did the come to this assumption that his views were also those of all the people in their 'group'? Someone give this kid a job for the Saints Trust. lol I don't know where the 1000+ come from though, seriously. 500 would have been a very high estimate. I think there will be even less this time. Anyway, like I said, just to shut me up, someone give me ONE example of how this will be effective in getting rid of Lowe and Wilde. Make sure it's something that hasn't be tried before or people don't know already. :-)
  10. In numbers, you are probably right. Effectiveness, wrong. I am still waiting for someone to give me ONE example of how marching to the ground will help rid SFC or Lowe and Wilde?
  11. You know what mate, I agree... waste of time and waste of my money. Our fanbase is too split to organise anything collectively.... let's hope for spontaneous action such as sit-ins, protests and pitch invasions. Lokeeed
  12. But it won't, because you will be in the concourse paying £3 a pint anyway, with nowhere to sit, no heating and no free Chilli..... Apart from getting to spend an hour in the concourse before the game when I would normally be in a pub, I really can't see the point myself. The whole footballing world know that we still hate Lowe! He must laugh at our fickle fanbase....
  13. How will this be more effective than a walkout/boycott/pitch invasion ? What do you expect to happen as a result of this march? Serious question, if you are so convinced... what is it that walking to the ground early together will achieve?
  14. OMFG this is getting pathetic. Pontyous... lock the march out threads. It seems our teenage warriors are convinced that holding hands and walking to the ground nice and early to put a few extra quid in Lowes pocket is the way ahead. I am not sure what is more tedious.... our fans or our football club.
  15. Yawn. Seriously, without trying to patronise you, read your post again. I have not 'slated' your march to the ground, simply stated that it will achieve nothing than making a point, it does not affect the running of the club in any way. The only way Lowe and Wilde will listen is by 'extreme' measures.... such as pitch invasions, boycotts, sit-ins etc etc.... not by a group of people marching to the ground singing Saints songs. Nobody said you don't care about the club, but you are a kid, and don't remember the Branfoot days etc and possibly don't understand fully what the most effective way of protesting is, if getting rid of Lowe and Wilde is the aim.
  16. A walkout, however good the idea, will not work imo..... only a few people will do it, and they will be shouted down by some of the superfans. Other superfans are trying to demean the protests etc.... in a nutshell, can't be arsed at the moment! Like I said, have set the website up etc etc.... is up to someone else to take it on from here... for personal reasons I cannot see it through to the end and publicise it. If nobody steps up, then I guess it does not happen.
  17. I have got one of them as well, a cabriolet! Infact the missus is just about to drive me to pick the Golf up in it.... would it be ghey to put the roof down?
  18. LOL - and how exactly are we going to help? They have played to 13,000 crowds, they have played to 32,000 crowds with the same results. They have played to Saints fans cheering every kick, they have played to protests and boos through the whole game. And guess what...... the same results. People should maybe realise that football fans on the terraces are not as important at home than some would like to think..... support counts in away games more, but still not enough to massively determine a result.
  19. LOL - We have only won once since May last year!
  20. The thing is, if it doesn't get the full support, then you have to wait. If we lose against Preston then I can see Donny all over again... and maybe worse. Maybe it's best to wait for the inevitable rather than give Lowe ammunition if the numbers are not there to describe it as 'The Lunatic Fringe' and pass it off as a small minority. I don't know what the march there achieves, apart from earning the club a bit of extra cash through more fans being at the ground earlier! :-) If you want to make a point, then get there before the Corporates get their and block their route into the stadium. How many would rebook the next game if their clients and customers had a rocky route into the stadium? There is a million ideas out there.
  21. Listen mate, I put my hands up and said 'fair play, good turnout, I was wrong' the day after. What I think is that some of you, obviously including yourself, seem to be getting some sort of kick out of speaking to papers and media etc and regard yourself as messiahs! lol ... 2 of you even started Facebook groups about the event that I decided on sorting... then started knocking it! One of you three people even sat on Saintsgomarchingout.co.uk and clicked on No, I won't be attending in the Poll over 120 times!!! Does seem like you guys seem to be getting a bit of the attention-hobag syndrome... you do your thing, let others do theirs. For that reason, I am out! Can't be bothered to waste my time with some happy clappy kids throwing their toys out of the pram because someone has come up with a more extreme idea than them! Good luck on the march there, fair play anyone who joins in! You are deluded if you think it will have even the slightest effect on Lowe and Wildes tenure.
  22. Where is there to park? I am taking my beautiful lady on a romantic valentines break to Wales and have decided to pop in and watch it with her! What a true romantic I am!
  23. My Golf V5 is in the garage today. I have had it for 2 whole weeks! And already... a) The Drivers side window is jammed about 1 inch open. b) One of the rear doors is stuck shut! Thank fook for the warranty!
  24. Can you call it " Will you be attending the boycott " or something.... I think I am going to throw up.
  25. Exactly, I went for the option of not confirming anything with the police. If you don't ask, they can't say no. :-)
