  1. So you are saying that if we don't support the team then we will definately lose? LMFAO Seriously Nick, how many games have we won due to the support this season, how many? Don't mention Reading, as even though we had large numbers there, the support was average at best, as was Derby. So Nick, which games this season has our outstanding support pushed us on to win the game?
  2. Ken, the links that you have provided show.... A story about Celtic in a CL match, no reports of any massive fine, European game as well. A story about Leeds pitch invasion ( in the end they didn't even get a fine ) A story about an Israeli team in a domestic cup final. A all-time league table in which none of the 84 teams have had points deducted for fans behaviour. I am not sure what point you are trying to make but the FACTS are that no team in the last 20 years have played matches behind closed doors or points deducted as a result of pitch invasions.
  3. It surely gives a 'boost' but no more than that and not enough to affect the result. We have given them great support this season and last..... how many games have we won? We can't go on forever wrapping the players up in cotton wool, especially when the protests are not about them.
  4. You would be though, as you have conflicting interests. I am totally for spending the whole 90 minutes making it as intimidating as possible for Lowe and Wilde, anyone who says it affects the players performance is deluded.
  5. There is a difference, there is a time to say 'enough is enough' Barring an absolute miracle, we are relegated. How many times this season have you seen a performance worthy of Saints staying up? Reading away and Derby away are the only 2 games that spring to mind. There are now only 14 games left and we have not even shown the slightest glimmer of turning things round, if anything, we are getting worse!
  6. How many teams over the years have been given points deductions or ground closures as a result of pitch invasions? I do sometimes how many of the posters on here actually have a brain. Saints won't get a big fine, they won't get a points deduction and they 100% definately won't get a ground closure. Get real, seriously.
  7. I thought that! The support was crap, allthough a large amount of people still managed to give the team a standing ovation off the pitch, to my amazement!!!
  8. How many people are now prepared to forget all about 'supporting the lads' and bringing the protests in to the 90 minutes as well? We are already down, the vast majority of people realise that. Will people boo if some fans end up on the pitch, or chanting Lowe Out etc against Preston? Or are people so fed up they are prepared to let people protest in any way they want?
  9. I don't understand how a Trust with over 800 members according to their site ( lol ) , can not attempt to make ANY sort of communication with these members to see their thoughts, and to gain their approval before making the proposal public. It just proves once again that it is being run by a small group of people who are more interested in themselves and the benefits they can reap rather than the good of SFC and they certainly do not give a toss about their 'members' The Trust is a joke, shut it down and stop claiming to represent the fans of SFC in the press. If the board members want to continue with all their ideas then fair enough, but don't decieve people by claiming to represent anyone other than yourselves. Saints Trust is a joke, finish it now, seriously, it's getting ******* tedious now.
  10. I am more concerned about the fact there is a little gang of about 4 or 5 people who are coming up with all these proposals without even consulting and getting the consent of their paying members. Doesn't sound very right to me.
  11. Not a chance, not whilst Lowe and Wilde are there. Lowe + Wilde still there = I will take the opportunity to swap watching footy for playing footy on a Sunday afternoon, whilst doing the decent away games, I doubt I will enter SMS more than 5 times next season. Lowe + Wilde gone = I will renew as normal. Enough is enough.
  12. I would say that if anything, it is TOO nice. What the f*ck people where clapping them off the pitch for on Saturday, I don't know!
  13. Let's hope so!
  14. Not to the extent they were policing yesterday. They only get riot cops in for Cardiff and Rovers.
  15. When did the Saints Trust canvass their members before deciding to make this proposal public? Does it have the majority support from it's members? It couldn't be that the board of ST have steamed ahead with this, without even consulting their members, could it? Doesn't show much respect from Saints Trust for their members, does it?
  16. I am not organising any planned boycotts. Nobody came forward to help and there were too many mongs and superfans knocking it... knowing how fickle our fanbase is, I could see people booing the people leaving, which would make the protest null and void. An example of our fickle fans is the standing ovation that about 50% of the fans gave Saints players on Saturday after the game. Stop protecting them, ffs, they are not completely blameless and many are under-performing. Now it is time for everyone to unite, stick together. I don't think a march to the ground will do any good, but I will support it and applaud anyone who attends. Let people protest inside the ground ALL GAME, don't shout down the Lowe Out chants, if you don't want to join in then don't, but please don't try and shout them down. This is about the board, not the players.... let's make it as uncomfortable for them as possible on Saturday ( all legally of course ) before, during and after the game. Let's crank up the pressure, we are down, we might as well go down fighting.
  17. An absolute joke, there was at least 20 riot police on foot, 3 meatwagons, 2 cars and 2 on horseback escorting about 10-15 lads! What a f*cking joke. I don't know what they were expecting but the Southampton Intelligence Officer is in for some sh!t for that level of policing he would have requested. That is nowhere near the normal level that Bristol police fans, only Cardiff and Rovers get the same treatment according to one of them.
  18. LOL Who the **** told me that Golfs were a good car? The latest trick is again the back door. You open it.... fine. You then push it close..... and the f*cker just bounces back open again and again as the catch gets stuck open. Highly amusing for anyone watching. :-(
  19. 2 players signed on 'nominal' wages, JP leaving would probably cover one of them at least. The bank would allow us to sign players at the level we are buying now, and the wages we are paying... 1/2 a million for two players wages? WAY over the top! Both will be on less than £1000 a week. So £100k a year MAX Saga is only here because nobody wanted him, Skacel is only here because nobody wanted him. Both are under contract which we cannot cancel, so might as well play them rather than rot in the reserves. This club CANNOT survive on current gates. Most of the young ex-Academy players are on a flat rate of £500 a week. We don't have a pot to p!ss in, we don't have the players to keep us up, Barclays probably let us keep Lallana and Surman due to the 'derisory' offers we recieved for them and hoping they will be worth more in the summer.
  20. I don't think you get my point. The point is.... we are going into administration whatever..... it is WHEN not IF. So as it is a choice of this season or next, I would rather take the - points this season. Not being negative, just realistic. I wouldn't take it this very second, if we have no more points on the board by 5pm after Preston, then I would call it a day.
  21. Let's talk about it. What Tyro teams did you play for? Me? I thought you'd ask... 1988-1991 - Michelmarsh & Timsbury U10's, 11's & 12's ( Players Player of the Year 1990 ) 1992-1993 - Whitbread Boys U13's & 14's 1994 - Testwood United U15's 1995 - AFC Totton U16's ( well, half a season, we were thrown out of the league for having too many naughty players ) 1996 - A few games for North Baddesley Sport 1997 - 2002 - A few games for 1PWRR against other regiments.
  22. F*ck, I was going to post something similar. Here is my record... 1988-1991 - Michelmarsh & Timsbury U10's, 11's & 12's ( Players Player of the Year 1990 ) 1992-1993 - Whitbread Boys U13's & 14's 1994 - Testwood United U15's 1995 - AFC Totton U16's ( well, half a season, we were thrown out of the league ) 1996 - A few games for North Baddesley Sport 1997 - 2002 - A few games for 1PWRR against other regiments. Haven't done much since and I am fat now, I have been thinking about starting up a 5-side team but in all honesty, I am too unfit and like beer too much to care. Can someone pass on my details to Mr Wotte. I am free for a trial on Sunday or next Wednesday.
  23. LMFAO Oh how the mighty Saints have fallen.
  24. Still in warranty at the moment so yes, if you can plug it in then that will be great! The door lock electronics are ****ed, the back door still does not work. :-(
  25. With regards to takeovers etc.... there is a good reason why nobody will come forward at the moment...... .... we are so close to administration and everyone knows that it is inevitable at some point in the next 18 months. So they will get a much better deal once it is done. Take it now and start a fresh next season. Seriously guys and gals, even another season in the Championship will stop admin, we don't have the money to improve, we don't have the players to improve next season, and we don't have the loyal fans to pump money through the gates next season. It's not going to get better, it's only going to get worse. Do it now.
