as i understand it the FL "own" a share called the " golden share" in all football league clubs that gives them the right to say you must follow our rules , they are refusing to give us their permission for this deal as it is structured because it makes them look like pratts

Steve surely the issue is that the FL will not sanction the deal in its present format, so even if it is signed they would not release the "golden share"

it never happened to me but after the Fulham away game in the promotion season in 78. we went into Soho and then got a very late/early Saturday morning train home. At least 20 of us had the train to ourselves and spread out in the carriages to have a kip when we got off at the Central Station to walk home at least 3 were missing. They ended up in Weymouth and had to fork out for the excess fares and trip back to Southampton.
