I was mates with Chris Biddiscombe(sadly no longer with us), Cevin ( a postie) and Martin( worked for BR I think). Have not seen the later to for years, funny thing was i joint the travel club to break away from some of my suspect background and ended up getting barred for drinking. Joined London Saints after that and travelled to London early Saturdays to join their train trips North. My 2 sons do not believe the trouble we all used to go through to get to away games

excuse me for not getting overexcited. the days of winning the combination cup in front of a very big crowd at the dell are a distant memory
-
i played darts there in a team made up of original travel club members, i only lasted a season before jess fielder removed my travel club membership for drinking alchol on the train

not quite as long, started in 61 and i agree with your view i used to go to the supporters club on a Sunday lunchtime but it was not to watch wan*er Wooley. It is strange how that Supporters Club actually brought supporters together which does not appear to be the case with the Dell bar at SMS

will be glad when we can argue about players , tactics etc rather than "Radio Solent Understand" at least i can watch the games, form an opinion and then express it. Hopefully there is only 14 more days of rumours left

disagree with those CB's we will leak goals at every set piece agree about the goal scorer but my the time we start looking the good ones will be gone just think that we will still be brittle under pressure with those players -
off on holiday from 23 july for two weeks, so if they do not hurry up money will be used for dollars. even buying the sundays give a view of the future , SFC no mention next season is going to be real strange looks like goals on meridian on a monday night will be it unless we go undefeated for months

Bored to tears. no players to talk about manager position in limbo deal rumours going to 3 pages i will bl**dy glad when this is all finally sorted, the wife has started asking if the money we have saved on mine and 2 lads season tickets can go towards a new kitchen. this must be worst close season on record for saints

There was a bit of trouble down the LOCK, STOCK AND BARREL last week if that helps GM
-
I would be surprised if this is true, but who knows it would be just another twist in the whole sorry saga. my base reason is that TL's letter would be a lie and the man himself would struggle to do business in the county going forward if this were true
