Why not? we went European Football to JPT in 6 years
-
agreed which is why i will with hold judgement on DMG , UNTIL he has played in a good team
-
i do not want him back, i want us to look forward as a club with a new manager with new ideas, who knows lower/non league football and can build a squad of 20 first team players. WGS does not meet those crtieria
-
until he plays in a good team we will never know Steve Moran was brilliant for Saints . crap at Leicester
-
Was this post really necessary , there are no winners or losers within the fans and this just stirs up unnecessary sh*t
-
probably more than one
-
i feel sorry for those who lost their jobs but as a club we have to cut our cloth to reflect where we are in the football league, anything that does not contribute to the target of getting back to the premiership should be ditched now
-
watch Sky then , whilst the standard of football is important the love of the club comes first in my house
-
must be money involved then
-
What makes me laugh is he rabbits on about buying players etc, the one thing i know is we gained no advantage on the pitch by going into administration
-
feel slightly sorry for the OB there job has been made virtually impossible by the PC world that now exists
-
AGREED i was just answering the points raised about what we do not know and pointing out we have never really known. this deal could go tits up but there is sweet fa any of us can do until we are giving the chance to buy season tickets etc
-
or that the deal could be funded by debt which like the Glaziers and Gillette and Hicks e rolled back into the club
-
We know he has handed over £500k We have never known who the next manager would be We have never known what players we may have We in the last 6 years have had no idea of anyones plans for the club Having one letter is better than the communication in the last year We basically, as fans, have no choice WE DO HAVE HOPE AGAIN THOUGH
-
agreed but we said the same after Terry Paine and Mick Channon so do not say never
-
Agreed but to often it is the small roles that gel things together in all organisations. look at the stick lou chaterley used to get but he was a major part of the team off the field. imo we should forget all past employees, except MLT on this occassion, face reality and build for a 5 year haul back to the big time, and in the words of the team song in 66 [promotion year) "we may not be one of the big clubs but despite of all the rest, you will see we will become the best" we , imo, have always been at our best when the world , except our fans, writes us off
-
no coach on his own can it is often the number 2's and 3's that do lots of the daily routine work at the training grounds
-
MLT the souths Niall Quinn
-
and many of them grew up at the club with Rofe giving them the kick up the backside they needed at times. people like Rofe and Woggy are important because they gender dressing room unity which is vital
-
oh dear looks like i am in the monority on this one imo he would be usless at this level because of lack of mobility imo we need to be looking at talent in the non league etc unless we are going to have a fortune to invest in new players
-
Perry and Clive on Nes at ten talking about...
70's Mike replied to ooohTerryHurlock's topic in The Saints
would never get to a game with todays H&S rules, 56 seater coach , number of passengers unknown -
IF we are ever to get back to where we were 7 years ago then it is Prost for me
-
" a nod, a handshake , a hug" What a brilliant way to put what the last 49 years of support mean to us of that vintage. From the beach at Blackpool, to the terraces at Ipswich, to the battle in Bradford, to the joy of Wembley and Fratton 84, the disappointment of relegation, the humilation at Fratton WE ARE SOUTHAMPTON FOOTBALL CLUB AND PROUD OF IT
-
AT least 100 million

Thank You Tony Suppose the Echo will publish this on Monday
