£1m for DMG - Why do people think it's such a bad deal?
70's Mike replied to Arizona's topic in The Saints
tough call i actuall believe DMG can play but if Pinnacle need thr cash then we should take it as long as we have a manager who knows the lower leagues and top non leagues and finds a brick sh*t hoyse defender, a ball winning constructive worker for midfield and a replacement target man. -
sorry to be a bit negative but i think we may need to see the side Ajax put out before shouting what a great fixture it is, a team of 18 year old unknowns is likely, we need to get real we are in the third division next season

none of us about MLT abilities to be Chairman or have any idea of how it would operate in practice. all i know is it would be a great PR move for the potential new owners(deal not done yet) the crowd would have a unifing figure at the head of the club the noise would be enormous when MLT takes his seat for the first home game, only downside would be we would need players of great charachter who do not sulk because the chairman is loved more than them.

in reply to the original post they were just taking the p*ss

think you mean County not Forest
-
think you will find that logic etc goes out of the window when dealing with football blaziers at all levels

AGREED but the car park charges go to buy lower management big cars. i actually do believe SS should get what he can, i fought the NHS 8 years ago for a drug from the states which keeps me a live , was plastered all over the front page of echo and evening news, ss should get some publicity and if he has a case they will cave in. All i was pointing out is the fact that the nhs has no money of its own

the first one we win
-
Whitehead and Denham put in a joint expense claim but because of the Telegraph it was rejected this time
-
i have run out of money
-
sueing the nhs , who have no income of their own means you are sueing every taxpayer. whilst you may feel aggrieved every penny you get or they spend defending your case comes out of everyones pocket and ultimately effects the level of treatment i get for my leukaemia. difficult decision for you

good news 3 pages of a thread without lowe, wilde and crouch or board room politics
-
Where did that come from
-
imo few are advocating kick and rush , but they are suggesting, as all good teams do, irrespective of the division, knowing when to find row z and when to pass. their is a massive difference between effective passing football and the sidewards passing between the back 4 we had last season with no end product. whether we like it or not the majority of goals come from set pieces

the drinks will be on her ?

agreed common sense and good advisors
-
seems about right,imo

Round and round you all go, makes me dizzy one thing is coming clear is that those who said they boycotted because of lowe would not have gone anyway and some are only going now and again in the future Strange
-
that was i was trying to say , Moran was good because of who he played alongside. I know he hurt his back but he was no where near as good after he left us. Tony Funnel was a bit player who, agreed , was superb in the promotion season but even you would have scored with the midfield we had supplying the bullets , Nick

Now i am worried if i typed something you agree with, i wanted Lowe gone with a vengence i just do not think it happened because of the " boycotters due to Lowe" but believe it was due tp poor performances on the pitch which made people stay away. Then again those poor performances ultimately happenned because of Lowe so perhaps Stanley is correct indirectly
-
Agreed but i do not agree that administration came about because of Lowe Boycotters, just lack of money due to poor performances. Lets just hope we have , in your words, " a new wealthy owner"
