almost agree but it is not the defenders who were watching spuds midfild/defenders run 40 yards for a pass, imo biggest problem is mid field players who cannot defend or sense danger

What Stats? Most Fouls if he is a defensive midfield player in a team leaking goals like we are then i still say he cannot defend. We are crying out for a Phil Neville type, not guys who can spray the ball about. Agree about Chaplow he would put hid foot in and try and stop the opposition playing or find row z with a clearance

season is very much like the very first one in top division, we conceded lots but there was no internet so we did not get stressed out about it, just got behind the team to get enough to survive
