i agree with your formation but would put the emphasis on the midfield 4 doing their complete jobs rather than protecting the fullbacks, which indicates it is their fault rather the middle 4

As i said above it is a front

Seems to me that the Trust is a front for a few businessmen with a little bit of cash each, to gain control of a football club.Have a good time for a few years at creditors expense and then go pop

So, that's now 13 points lost from winning positions

could be the standard of opposition -
funny lots of opinions on who NA should bring on, not to many mentioning who goes off
-
Christ there are lots of things wrong and to moan about but subs today was not one of them, good job some of you were not about between 78 and 02, you would have been organising mass suicides

what simple chance was that today then, must have been when i went for a p*ss

Les Reed the man who had such a great record at Charlton

at least there was only one mistake today, gutted because Gazza only had one other shot to save. We actually look dangerous when we swallow our pride and get it in to the box, NA needs to ensure we played, as he preached, winning football not just pretty football, crosses to Lambert early with support running of him

time to turn out the lights, if they have paid electric and start again

Not a defensive coach needed but a midfield coach to teach midfield players their defensive duties, as Gary Neville said nothing wrong with shape just individual mistakes.
-
exactly nothing to do with spraying passes or looking good, we need players who want to put their bodies on the line for the club. block shots no matter the pain, defend first and win the battle in midfield not just retain poession for the purpose of good stats
-
but do they care as much, put their bodies on the line to block shots? think about defending before attack?
-
but how many really believe in the b/s about Europe, and to be fair half of that money was on 1 player who has been out for the last few weeks.4th from bottom was the target and is still achievable. But 3 wins in November are essential

After the end of this month, we have played all the top sides except Chelsea, no one who has experienced saints in the top flight before expected us to be in anything other than a relegation fight, problem is it looks like it will be down to the 15000 hardcore to lead the fight as the JCL start to moan

Ever the optimist I saw signs of improvement last night with the back 4 starting to play as a unit, i have said all along it is the lack of a defensive solid midfield player which is our problem. how many times did we see AL busting a gut to get back last nighr only to arrive after the damage was done, although he did try to get there, on the other side Clyne was on his own all night. deflected goal, hit the bar, these 2 events were pivotal si i for one ain't giving up yet

does not seem to do the top teams to bad, to me being near the the top of the fair play league shows we are not competing for 50/50 balls
-
that is what worries me, we are near the top of the fair play league, no passion or anger when we are getting out played
-
agree with the bit about Lallana i ended up arguing with the bloke next to me against Spuds when he kept doing that, his and a few others were tactically inept with regards to their defensive duties

Is there a deal to be done with Blackpool?
