I started a thread recently about long range shooting because the last few games both Home and Away we have tried to walk it in, no Saints player looks like scoring from outside the box and when they do shoot no one follows it in. IMO NA needs an alternative plan, which is more a mixture of pass/move and direct when things are not going right. Scrappy 0-0 or 1-0 wins are acceptable between now and May, sod the entertainment lets get the results

as i see it teams have sussed out how we play and NA needs a plan 2 which may involve being a bit more direct. i think that the squad is not as strong without Jaidi and Seaborne although to be fair neither would get in ahead of the current 2 centre backs. In respect of other positions, other than Harding/Fox, the current starters are just about our best 11(Chaplow would play once fit)

maybe but IS Dickson better than Fox , and who would Holmes replace? i have not posted on the after game thread but until Lambert's dismissal we were bossing the game yesterday, had a goal chalked off by poor officials. the result was poor in the end but until the dismissal we played better than we have for weeks

IMO this is another case of players ability improving in fans eyes by not playing, simply not good enough for this division

sort of agree but biggest difference is the opposition give us more respect, and come to shut up shop which did not happen in early games, many of our goals in the early games came when we hit teams on the break which is more difficult when they stick 11 behind the ball
