my missus comes from Pompey and her friend took her 4 kids plus 4 month old grandson to game, 3 of them had never been to a game they were only "there for the Chelsea"
apathy still rules at Fratton
not encouraging season ticket sells is a dangerous policy
it relies on success on pitch to generate income and all football fans know that the difference between a successful season and a poor one is wafer thin.
i think most are unhappy with the size of the increases and the way they are assuming, as did others in the past, that you can keep screwing more money out of the same few people.
Lots of moral outrages being expressed
at 57 i am not effected by the 72% increase
but i wonder what all those who are giving stick to those effect would have done if the whole fan base had had a 70% increase applied to it
Way Season Ticket renewals are organized, issue over car park charging when spending a grand at ticket office, maybe his skills lay in negotiating TV Deals etc rather than dealing with public
suppose the difference if you are going to sms mid week during the summer you are going to spend money, whereas that is not the case with West Quay which is a global car park for all shops.
interesting that many of those who do not have a problem with paying to park to renew season ticket are also on here every saturday afternoon during the season
