  1. Not matching up today formation wise. Always worries me a little as players get caught in no mans land at times. Armstrong working hard...and then when you need him to make the run for Robinson he stands still. Grrr
  2. three centre backs and we still don't dominate in the air. Free headers from set pieces in both league games. Go to do better.
  3. Take free kick out and no one would question that decision.
  4. Didnt he score up there last time? I fancy that bet.
  5. Fraser deserves selection. Not sure he deserves being moved backwards in the formation. The head coach seems to see the same game we do. Maybe he watches the matches back afterwards, thus getting our angle/view?
  6. We dont know that for sure. Still has tried a few things already. When was the last time BBD played down the middle?
  7. Was just discussing this on the transfer thread (I didn't know down and Stewart were out) that Brereton was a decent target man at Forest and I can't understand how he has become a wider forward. Its been a while, but if needs must perhaps he could take his chance and be the focal point up front...you never know he could be resurrected.
  8. Looking at it positively, he got in the position to have four chances in the first game. He didn't take any, but on another day...today perhaps?
  9. He's filled out a bit since he was 19, which you'd think would be an advantage if he played as a target man.
  10. Similar. Went to Stamford Bridge with the brother on law and saw him cause Chelsea a few problems. I see a totally different player now in a role he's not fit for. I think pretty much the whole world knows by now that area between full back and cb is where most goals from open play come from, be it a long ball to set a pacey winger free, or a winger coming inside to shoot. What on earth is Brereton doing in there?
  11. Still could do worse by returning him back to his young days at Forrest where he played as a number 9, down the middle. He was pretty decent with his back to goal, linking the play. Not sure how or why he has become an inside forward.
  12. Amen to the ball carrier aspect. Top sides have at least one or two that truly are comfortable keeping the ball that little but longer allowing others to make runs safe on the knowledge the ball won't be lost and they are left totally out of position.
  13. Leo Scienza's YouTube looked tidy but not sure the level he was saying at it some clips.
  14. Still specifically mentioned him when refering to wingers, so must see him as that.
  15. Seems strange that a side lacking wingers let's a winger go (this is compounded by the 'forced' retention of Diaz). You'd of thought Edozie would favour championship over a Belgium side, but perhaps I'm mistaken. My guess is Spors didn't rate him.
  16. I wonder if Edozie wanted to depart or Spors decided he was good enough and suggested he move?
  17. Interesting that he suggests we can't play four at the back unless we have some wingers at the club but don't have any currently (with Edozie departing and Dibling unavailable at this moment). Sounds like if Dibling goes, we sign a winger, stay and be plays as a winger. No idea who fills the left side...Fraser?
  18. How is it that David Brooks is off to championship wba one minute then starts for Bournemouth at Anfield the next? Was that transfer ever real? I'm a fan and wouldn't mind him returning, but seems very unlikely now.
  19. Pretty clear from that reply that the new keeper coming in will be a number 3.
  20. Good shout. Brighton don't seem scared to invest serious amounts on players, and have no issue showcasing that talent before making tidy profits... ...but at the same time, their scouting a data analytics seems to work well at finding quality players from around the world at a lot less money.
  21. What would you choose?
  22. Sure, but anyone can insure pretty much anything against pretty much any eventuality. A player most certainly can insure themselves against loss of earnings due to injury. If you are running your contract down, it would make sense.
  23. Insurance. Problem solved. Sit tight for two years and he could demand tens of millions in signing on fees.
  24. Transfermarkt has him scoring some goals (a hatrick against Forrest) when he played CF, but at the start and end of season they played him wider and he didn't really score from there. Brentford see the potential and are willing to pay the inflated but going rate. Everton will come back and do the same with Dibling.
  25. Ouattara £42.5m...it seems that potential comes at a price. I have a feeling we will see some increased bids for our two stars in the not too distant future.
