particularly liked how he kept the ball when we desperately needed an outlet and a breather. Really pleased he has performed well in the last few games as fans were starting to get on his back. Get behind him and he can be a good player for us.

that might be true, but in this specific circumstance you are effectively paying a tax on your ticket tax... such is life...and I know if I don't want one I don't have to pay either.
-
I've said much the same thing. Imagine if both Yoshida and Stevens were starting their first games last night. Rotation has its advantages as well as disadvantages.
-
nothing worse than seeing away fans go bat **** mental at SMS. It usually means they have scored a late winner, or are skates or both...painful. I suspect it was pretty painful for Liverpool fans seeing us do just that last night. That's football I suppose.

isn't 15% the unofficial equity requirement companies ask for before offering a place on the board?
-
Membership has a booking fee. WTF? What a ****ign world we live in.
-
it doesn't. If you bought a ticket then were ill and didn't attend they couldn't then take that purchase away from you.
-
how many memberships I wonder. A few more after last night. £25 Wembley ticket tax...
-
yes, that certainly was another thrilling day.
-
not sure why away games don't count, but we have been here before so everyone knew the score. I hate the idea of paying for a membership, but it seems as though that is the only way of getting a ticket.

Having invested a lot of time and money hoping and praying for a last minute semi final winner that saw us through to Wembley, all my dreams came true. Quite simply, there is nothing quite like the feeling you get when witnessing something like that, at Anfield too...fantastic. The scenes of joy and wild celebration when we scored will live with me forever. As Long's goal went it took me back to Barry Horne's goal against Bolton, Camaras' goal against Norwich, Lambert's goal at **** park, and Jhon Viafara and Rasiak's levellers at Pride Park. There might be a few others, but that absolute and undiluted pure joy and genuinely crazy goal celebrations are very hard to come by. I pogo'd with the best of them last night. Nothing held back, just jubilation. It been along time since I got myself a goal celebration injury (its a corking bruise), but that just adds to the occasion. I hope I can get a final ticket, but even if I don't, this is the sort of experience and feeling that I have chased for over 30 years watching Saints. Not the wins, not the glory, just the buzz of a late winner in a big big game that really means something. Hope you all enjoyed it as much as me. Que Sera Sera has never sounded so good (or lasted so long)...

So tired, bloody M6 one lane misery...but who cares about that. Still elated. Last minutes winners and the scenes after are why you go to games. Reminded me of the moment Rasiak equalised...crazy amount joy.

Is he working currently? Would he accept a non manager role at SFC. Seems like the perfect guy to be part of board or youth scheme or something...
-
Yep its pretty poor, but that shows what fans think of this cup. Personally, I'm not willing to let the rare occasion of a semi final pass me by. Whether it will be worth the time and money I'm not sure as we usually come up short badly in these `big' games. See you all there.

Cheers Ash.

problem solved.

Never rated Jagielka as a CB. he doesn't pick the flight of a crossed ball well at all. This position is so crucial - they all are these days I suppose - but if you can get two pacey fullbacks and a dominating decent centre you are in almost every game. I'd be disappointed if we `settled' for him.
-
quick question, do you have to pay for parking if collecting tickets from SMS? Years since I did that.
-
Is Davis injured?
-
Cedric really did have a good game and even when beaten made it as tough as possible for Gray to score.
-
I intended to go to China this summer for a holiday with the mrs. I am just imaging the look of disgust she will give me as a I reveal we can take in a game whilst we are there.
-
Players about to leave are never played. You cant risk that they get injured in that game and then the deal fall through. Still a few hundred tickets left I noticed. Just off to collect mine. Excited now.
-
would he really have played Fonte if he was about to leave the next day?
-
Because of the huge contract we have just given him, I can't see us looking at anyone, unless of course someone comes in for him. Begovich is wasted on the bench at Chelsea though. Decent keeper
-
interesting, although they might look at Hart first.
