There is is a very fine line between winning and losing games at this level. The loss of so much quality will have an effect as we go through the season. Would we have won on Sunday if we have retained the side from last season?

I could not agree more. Absolutely no reason for putting the prices up again this summer whilst all around us prices remained the same or even dropped.

Yarmolenko the flip flap king...he is fun to watch on youtube. Weren't Liverpool looking to sign Yevhen Konoplyanka for a similar fee too?

Are Spurs even looking to sell him? He played on Saturday. all be it coming on as a sub. I'm dreading that final day of the window. I wonder how much Spurs are willing to bid for Morgan?

please expand on this comparison, because McCant was simply terrible and I can't believe there is another winder at his level plying his trade in the top flight.

do players that come through the academy then owe the club for training them? The club aren't doing youngsters a favour, they are developing players to save themselves large transfer fees to bring other players in.

Phil Neville predicts Saints in Bottom 3 at end of season

pretty annoying that he is getting paid a handsome amount by SKY, but he clearly isn't doing the necessary research. Imagine getting paid to read about and watch football and then sum up what you have seen and read. -

Season ticket holder since 84, not that it matters. Having a pessamistic view is my perogative. Relegation is possible. We have been relegated before you know and we have no devine right to win any games. I hope the new players shine straight away. they will need to. -
Its a bit of a myth that we played a pressing game. In a few games maybe. but only when cork played and only against sides that overpassed it iut from the back. spurs wont change much under poch.

5 of your best players plus another out injured is going to have an effect. surprised saints fans are so cool about it. I am concerned to say the least. thank god morgan has not gone. -
Gnarby looked decent in flashes last season, whilst Sinclair was absolute Shiite if you talk to any WBA fan.
-
Games are won and lost by the tightest of margins and I think those margins have been lost. Fans are underestimating the impact of losing Lallana, Shaŵ and Lovren. I also think Morgan will go too. Too much quality going out.

He was very poor in a number of games, struggling to find a team mate five yards away. His long passing is as bad as I have ever seen at this level. Also I would say that we were a little boring to watch in a lot of games he played in. He slows the play down so much and everything is square, everything. Personally I preferred watching us when a cork played. That doesn't mean I don't like him, just don't think he was mr wonderful last season. At 22 he is just going to get better and better though...

Malky is Mates with the chairman too.

if Corks' Dad's tweets are anything to go by then he has wanted a new contract from Saints. Whether or not his agent is asking too much money, who knows.

Is this not just Koeman's decision?
