how long is Chaplow out, because right now we only (Dickson is clearly not in Adkins' plans) have Holmes as cover for left midfield and he is not good enough in my opinion. With Lallana struggling that is another position we could look at. Hey, in the end if someone of good quality is available at the right price then lets bring him in. That said I don't want us paying over the top `gambling' on promotion no matter how good it looks right now. I wonder if we will find someone that can afford Dickson.

Craig Gordon is not far from returning after a long injury spell. Some kind of loan perhaps?

what are you going to do?

likewise, **** ****ing poor. Why the hell were bus tickets not ready for yesterday? Total incompetence. Now I have to make another trip just to pick the bus ticket up.

what a good idea. Far too simple for these bunch of clowns.

If Jaidi and Seaborne are not going to return before the end of the season then we need to think about a centre back. An emergency loan might be an option, but why not look to next season now and get what is out there. The best in the Championship for me is Curtis Davies. Up front goes without saying. I think Adkins will return for Billy Sharp. The question is why did he not sign last time round. I've seen Matt Philips twice for Blackpool against us, and both times he has been their stand out player. He would solve our right side `issue'. No reason for Blackpool to sell.

Time To Drop Fox. Harding To Start V Skates?
Chez replied to View From The Top's topic in The Saints
The last three posts are all spot on. The one thing I'd add is that both fullbacks are fine defensively so long as they are not exposed. Currently they are not getting the cover and support from the man in front of them. I'd stick with Fox myself, and sort out left midfield. -
if they sussed us out how did we create so many chances? They didn't suss us out at all.
-
I'd leave it at home, do you really want it touching this **** hole?
-
They will have tickets with the buses at Winchester.

in my markings 5 is average, 4 is below average. He was below average for a normal player (not just him). Wasn't he? I don't think his form is the problem, his touch is perfect, he's just not fit and not doing the work. Because of how good he has been, Lallana gets away with a lot more than most. I'll keep going on as it can only ensure he gets that last minute winner next week.
-
they will be open Sunday. They have to be.
-
lucky you, I was told they were not ready.

there is a silver lining to today's display, I'll not have to suffer the **** three seats from me chastising Kelvin left right and centre for a long long time.

Time To Drop Fox. Harding To Start V Skates?
Chez replied to View From The Top's topic in The Saints
Fox plays it long too much and often unsuccessfully. I'm amazed Adkins has not chewed his arse off as his distribution goes totally against our short passing game. He has great feet, is much more comfortable on the ball than Harding (and with a better touch) and gets out of tight spaces better, but he is also a little casual and doesn't bully his opponent like Harding does. My biggest gripe is that he does not pass to Lallana, carry the ball quick and enough, get to the byline or deliver from set pieces. His corners last week were the worst I've ever seen. Harding never lets us down and really clicks with Lallana. The big drawback is his lack of pace which ha s been exposed a few times, but saying that he makes it bloody tough for wingers to beat him. The biggest difference between the two is Harding commits when going forward. He will get his head down and drive to the byline. Sometimes it doesn't work, but he makes things happen. Fox on the other hand makes sure its not him that makes the error so is more conservative, preferring to cross from deep or pass backwards. -
that's how I see it. Any loss of form is down to losing Chaplow and Lallana being injured???

how have you given Bart a 3? Do players get points just for turning up? Bialkowski: 0. From start to finish terrible. Worst display since Ian Andrews at QPR. Couldn't catch or kick. Choices were bad and in the end they stopped passing back to him which gave us more problems. He even ****ed up a throw out under no pressure at all Richardson: 7. Always willing to get forward, which I love, just like him to go to the byline a few more times. Fonte: 7. very good display again. Back to his best and dominating strikers Hooiveld: 7. Didn't pick up his man for their first goal, but very solid game otherwise. He seems to be improving week on week. Fox: 6. Fed up of his hollywood cross field balls. What is the point? Just pass it 10 yards down the line to Lallana. Give him the bloody ball. I think he only passed it to him once and that was part of a lovely burst in the second half. Do it all the time. Didn't think he was playing too badly, but Harding improved us with a greater degree of urgency. Schneiderlin: 7. Totally wasted out wide, as soon as he went in the middle he ran the game. Has to start there. We have a Lampard/Gerrard thing going on. Adkins - make a choice. Cork: 8. Worked his socks off and for periods looked like the only player desperate to get us back in the game. Covers defenders so well when they go forward and when the game gets stretched he comes into his own. Hammond: 6. Some good stuff, but we seemed very open at times and its his job to cover the back four so I have to wonder how well he really did. We improved when he went off as Morgan was quicker and sharper. Lallana: 4. Two nice touches in the whole game. Liability at left midfield right now as he simply is not working hard enough when he hasn't got the ball. In the hole he did next to nothing. Lambert: 8. Blimey, what a difference from Donny with someone leading the line and able to win arial ball Guly: 8. Lots of great running, touches and hold up play. A completely different player to Tuesday.

aye? As I said, we carried Lallana again. He was poor and has been in all of the last four games. I'm told he is still injured. Well, he is certainly playing like someone that is unfit and carrying an injury. His work rate is terrible and that is something I have never said about him before. Marvellous player, but he is leaving huge gaps, not closing down, not tracking back and generally not doing anything unless he is on the ball. I am tempted to drop him. Hopefully I have now said enough to ensure he is amazing next week!
-
they were not available today. So what choice is there if you work during the week? ****ing balls up of the highest order. Bus tickets will have to be made available at Bursledon.
-
reminded me of Ian Andrews' display at QPR many moons ago, especially the letting in of a `backpass' through his legs. As bad a keeping display as I've seen in a Saints shirt. Tough to come back from that. Hope Kelvin is ft for next Sunday.

for the fourth game in a row we carried Lallana.

The Police won't truncheon a single Saint, there won't be any need. Besides, if we win Moran-style then those that attended will have a memory that will stay with them for ever. I want to see the faces of those skates when that net ripples...

by short changing loyal fans in this way SFC will: a) ensure fans have to go to the OS on a daily basis in the future b) get much more people using the web and phone to buy tickets thereby increasing the booking fees
