  1. untrue, Saints earn commission on every away ticket sold for league games.
  2. if true, then the way our ticket office has handled the allocation is what is embaressing.
  3. why the **** have they not added a ticket to my history yet. If I have not ticket and they have returned tickets I am going to be fuming.
  4. er, Adkins played Morgan off the front man, I think you got your wish...and it didn't work.
  5. We've not played that many northern clubs over the last 18 months but have beaten Barnsley, Oldham, Sheff Wed, and Notts County, losing to Donny, Huddersfield, Rochdale, Carlise and Tranmere, drawing with Hartlepool, Derby and Burnley
  6. can I ask whether you did the 500 mile round journey to Donny and also went to City last week? I ask because it is usually those that attend games have a far more balanced view than those that are forced to watch teletext or highlights, but on this occasion I think its those that have attended that are the most unhappy and posting the most negative opinions. The reason for this is that they are the ones that not only saw a defeat - which currently you can bare when we are top of the league and winning right left and centre - but they are also the ones that had to endure two woeful displays and tactical **** ups by the manager. They are also the ones that will be fratton on the 18h.
  7. you mean completely toothless
  8. I'm very worried. We have been poor away from home and the injuries have not helped things
  9. love the FA cup, especially the third round. Was fed up of home draws, but cov away was not quite the tie I had hope for (Arsenal or Wigan away). Shame it's not somewhere I've not been, but we can beat them and then who knows. If we find our form again we can go a long way in this cup and there is nothing better than a great cup run.
  10. just back and that's three poor displays in a row for me. It feels just like how it used to feel watching Saints, powerderpuff away from home and a total lack of a cutting edge. FFS get to the byline!!!! Sadly without Chaplow our midfield looks lacklustre and we don't win the ball back not nearly enough and without Lambert we don't have a player capable if winning any of our countless long balls and crosses from deep, hold the ball up or bring others into the game. That said if you don't make the most of what you have, then you don't deserve to get anything out of the game. Adkins has now got it wrong in three games in a row. Why on earth our we starting Morgan off the one front man against the bottom of the table side? Why is Barnard sitting on the bench for so long? Why take Cork off? Why bother with Holmes? Why then play him right wing? Why allow Fox to continue taking set pieces? Why not get full back overlapping, why is Lallana allowed to float aimlessly? Adkins has done a terrific job, but he must take a share of the blame for this defeat. He's played players out of position and when it has not worked he has not learnt from it. Didn't every fan expect 4-4-2, de ridder out wide, Cork and Morgan (or Hammond) and Lallana on the left, Barnard and Guly up front, Simple. Get a grip. Is you lose two of your best players and Lallana is half fit then we must get everything lse right and we got almost everything else wrong. Davis 7 made all the right choices with his kick outs. I've not see the goal, but live I thought he might have done better. Little else to do. Richardson 6 poor distribution throughout, never once tried to get to the byline. Mind you with little cover in front I'm not sure I can blame him. Fonte 9 Another very good game. Back to his best after three very good games in a row. Jos 6 some poor headed clearances, but overall OK Fox 4 absolutely woeful set pieces. Corners were terrible. Either miles too long or straight in keepers hands. Crap. Let someone else have a go. Why can he not pass it 5 yards forward to Lallana. He is the guy we want on the ball. Stop the hollywood cross field balls to a guy in the same position as Lallana only on the other side of the pitch. Pointless. Lallana 6 tidy on the ball as usual, but created little really. Offered zero cover again for the fullback, drifted into the middle and ten left Fox with two on one. If he is not fit he needs to rest as he causes us problems defensively. He leaves huge gaps when he wonders. Either that or play him off the striker as he won't need to track back. Cork 6 ok first half, no idea why he is taken off rather than Hammond Hammond 5 looked liked he was running in treacle, lost possession a few times because he was too slow. He and Cork didn't offer themselves enough and we played long because of little options. Morgan 6 decent game overall. but he is not the right player to play off the striker. Lallana should be playing this role. Much more comfortable when moved into the centre de Ridder 5 busy, but not overly effective, never got to the byline. He was then was moved into the middle when IMO Barnard should have been brought on. Why not bring Barnard on and them leave de Ridder out wide? Guly 6 some good, any dangerous stuff came through him, but plenty of bad touches and lacklustre jumps for headers. Didn't deserve the stick he got from some fans as it was much more to do with the poor service than any genuine lack of effort. Very little space to work in. He worked much harder than Tuesday, but it just didn't go his way. Not helped by having no partner and Barnard is not a good partner for Guly. Different wavelengths. Barnard - fans called for him to come on but when he did he offered little threat. With space at a premium he is not good enough. Ran around a lot as you'd expect, but also fell over a lot. Should have started with him to tire opponents out then bring on a touch player perhaps. Holmes - totally ineffective, tidy first touch as always, but then every time he gets the ball he ends up going backwards. The one time he came inside he found row Z with his shot. Crap. I've never rated him and as an impact sub he offers little IMO.
  11. go on call them, I'm sure they won't mind the interuption, in fact you'll probably be the first enquirer they've had.
  12. all tickets have been sold, hope I am one of them http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2534436,00.html
  13. lets put in a cheaky offer for Curtis Davis.
  14. cheers. I'll sit tight till next week before contacting them I think.
  15. Applied in first ballot, st holder, all the aways and nothing, nit a dicky bird. I haven't emailed the club as I don't want to be 3000th person to do so, but getting worried by PO postman has ****ed me.
  16. what makes you think he's not a wide man? Also we played with Lallana and Oxo all last season, so why not this? With Hammond and Morgan both liking to hold having two attacking wide midfielders seems to make sense
  17. just because you've had the inoculations it doesn't mean everyone has.
  18. oh go on then, they can have my collection
  19. no one wants to drop him and no one booed him either. There were merely groans after yet another terrible touch. Fully justified.
  20. who exactly is suggesting that Guly be dropped? No one on this thread. There are far too many precious fans on this forum that don't want little jonny criticised. Also fans that do have a dig at a player are not necessarily thick they just have an opinion and one that might actually be accurate. One last thing, just because a player scores it doesn't mean they played well.
  21. if last night was the last time for those with four aways to apply, then surely they will have counted up all the applications today and could then make an announcement about those with less than four aways applying. Either the allocation has sold out or the ticket office are slow in counting and preventing genuine fans from buying tickets. I doubt it is the latter, but if it is then it just adds to the shambles.
  22. maybe because Fonte had his best game of the season, Cork was our best midfielder in the first half, and Morgan performed quite well out wide (where he clearly is not comfortable) and grabbed hold the game after half time.
  23. better bloody tell me that I've got a ticket then so I can reapply if I haven't.
  24. it certainly is a hassle, but in the end its less miles than driving up to Old Trafford though and you'd do that right?
