  1. Does relegation mean certain administration? I think failing to get Saga, Rasiak, Skacel and Thomas off the books is more or a prerequisite for administration. if we are relegated but not in adminstration then we won't be -10 or -15. like they did the last time we got rid of him? If we win every week then crowds will go up, if Lowe goes and we still keep losing the crowds won't come back. We got to the playoffs when the club was settled and then avoided relegation on the last day. We were set to go on from there. We have now gone back into the freefall, this time it will be much harder to avoid. What a load of cack. We got into the play offs because we spent a relative fortune on top quality players and had brilliant young players as well in Jones and Bale, certainly not because we were `settled'. We were nearly relegated the following season because we and to sell our best players and bought ****e. No I can't, but I don't see a boycott helping.
  2. that reduced income will certainly help us get the very best. I can see what you are saying, but its results that will force Lowe's hand, lower attendances will just force the sale of Surman and Lallana and prevent us resiging Cork.
  3. again, a boycott helps how exactly? All it means is we have less money and we employ even less quality players. Boycott all you want, 10,000 have voted with theoir feet already, but it won't help the team survive relegation.

this is why fans took to PEARSON, his honesty and clarity was refreshing after years of drivel from previous managers. Sadly no one has a clue what the **** Jan is taking about half the time.

rubbish. You can take sides to peices and get hit on the break and lose 1-0. That does not mean you didn't play the better football. Sometimes it is just not your day. Sadly that has nto been the case with us all season.

this is what he really means..."the squad is ****e, never goog enough for this level. I've tried to cover this by swamping midfield, however even that is failing badly as the first 11 gets weaker and weaker due to injuries etc. I'll keep trying, the players will as well, but in the end unless money is made available to me to bring in the players I know and want we are going to struggle."
  7. we are playing **** because we have **** players. We have **** players because we have no money. Boycotting improves things how exactly?
  8. Its the only reason I could think of for us not keeping Pearson. However if Pearson was on £160,000 for four months work (as suggested above) then I conceed that Poortviet could be on £100,000k or maybe more. I have no idea, I just can't see why Pearson was not retained unless Lowe found someone a hell of a lot cheaper.
  9. I know you were being sarcastic, but I really don't understand why we let Wright go only for Wotton to come in. Wright played well last season at right back and is a much better footballer. I guess Wright must have been on £5k+ whilst Wotton will have been on less than £5k
  10. why didn't he get into the restive spirit and use chocolate coins?
  11. very good right midfielder? What makes you think that, a couple of decent crosses from fullback?
  12. I could not agree more. Who gives a **** what photo is on the wall? The entire meeting seemed to be about past events and LM/Crouch telling Lowe he was not wanted. All that matters at the moment is how the club can continue as a going concern whilst still attempt to stay in the league. I am past caring whose fault it was and this meeting was a total waste of time.
  13. Assuming Pearson would have cost £160,000, and JP costs about £50k, then Lowe has saved over £100,000. That is not to be sniffed at when trying to trim every possible cost (not easy when players have fixed contracts) and perhaps it was enough to sway Lowes decision, but there must have been a middle ground? I'd like to point out that it wasn't just a case of Pearson or the three Dutchman. If we had gone for Pearson he would have needed an assistant as well, so further savings might have been made there as well. I wanted Pearson and at this point it looks a very poor decision to not give him the job. Lets hope things improve result wise and then some of us can start forgetting about Pearson.
  14. you are right, although I'd be surprised if JP had even seen Wotton play. Whoever did scout him needs the sack IMO, he is way below the standard required in the CCC. I'm not endorsing the current set up by the way, I am just pleased that they can see what I can see - Wotton is a League 1 player at best.
  15. absolutely terriffic news, not only has JP recognised that he is poor but we have also found a buyer/suiter. Wotton is a very poor player IMO and never good enough for ths level. Onwards and upwards.
  16. I know that sounds high, but other than the stadium mortgage what else has to come otu of the 19%? Whatever it is it added up to a £1.2m loss every month.
  17. focusing purely on the struggle to avoid financial ruin I don't think many of the investors have any complaints about Lowe employing cheap labour and offloading high wage earners and casshing in on anything of value before it is too late.
  18. Happy Xmas and rolll on 2009. Lets hope for much much better both on and off the pitch.
  19. I see the minimum compensation, but what's the realistic price for these two in your opinion. We have about...sod all in the bank.
  20. are BC paying 100% of his wages for this period?
  21. Lowe has waited for years to totally discredit Chorley. Chorley has made it very easy for him today.
  22. Under our current financial restrictions I don't mind one iota that Stern John is not coming back. I don't really want Saga back either, but its essential that we send Robertson and Pekhart back and try some other loans.
  23. last time I looked there was the mother of all Tescos 500 yards from the proposed new site for ****e Park II, who the **** is going to literally drive past Tesco then go down towards the sea, which is out of their way, to shop at another supermarket? That doesn't add up to me.
  24. to be honest the formation leaves us exposed on both sides. When the full back overlaps Skacel and James have been found wanting countless times. Add to the mix Skacel is lazy and James is poor and we have serious problems. I believe many people have posted all season that having no proper fullbacks at the club was a very poor move, having no protection in front of these poor `fullbacks' is just madness.
  25. to be exact it was a poor pass from Surman to Gasmi that was underhit. Gasmi certainly could have made a challenge, he probably would not have won it, but he bottled it and the rest is hist-o-ry.
