none more so than from me. He certainly had a good game yesterday though and one header that prevented a certain goal certainly had me applauding him. Having said all that he is still weak as **** in the air which has been found out on several occassions already.

Bridge None. Pele, very doubtful indeed.
-
bit tired and hung over, sorry, but that was is as clear as mud. I'll lighten up though. Our bunnies are taking us down, that is something Alpine and i both agree on. Hang on I joined this thread all positive about the performance and now I'm leaving it depressed at the reality that we are going down. Bugger.
-
maybe, but he loaned him in the first place so why not extend it?
-
I honestly have no idea what you are talking about. I don't even see a post from you on this thread.
-
I judge each post on its merit. By contrast he appears to conclude that anyone with anything positive to say is delusional.
-
go back through the thread and tell me where people are being delusional. A decent performance is met with "we were crap". Not we ARE crap, but we WERE crap. I don't care if the poster was there or not today, either way they are talking utter ****e. We were decent, end of.
-
I don't know anything about that but I do know he likes calling people delusional and happy clappy despite the people in question being neither. By using such names he trys to discredit posters answers, but anyone with a bit about them can see right through that.

who comes in full stop. Pulis?
-
out wide yes, but in the middle Gobern looks ready.
-
Cork is going back to Chelsea tomorrow to discuss extending the loan.
-
For me it was the inclusion of Patterson up front. The ball stuck and we could then play further up the field. In addition Gobern and Gillett protecting the back four much better. My greatest fear against united is the space their wide men will get. Our full backs must get better protection from the wide men. Holmes and Smith offered little. McClaggen worked well going both ways, less so BWP.
-
thanks for that post. That is how I wanted to sum things up.
-
if he Bale II then he is more than welcome.
-
he was tired, his work rate dropped off a lot after 50 minutes. Holmes and Smith were playing as wingers and McGoldrick said in the post match interview that he "liked playing in the hole". The formation was exactly the same as last week.
-
you're the jinx!
-
absolutely. Boy could we do with a fit Thomas to sell.
-
I doubt you will find any Saints fan that doesn't think we will either be relegated or will struggle to survive. Your post is therefore just a pathetic attempt to paint supporters that went and enjoyed the game today as `happy clappy'.
-
they played teh exact same game as at their place - booting it long down the channels. They were slightly more effective than at the Madjeski but we just kept the ball better. They do not have a big man up front which is where we struggle. Coppell sppeared to have not learned a thing from watching us last time and also on Sky and didn't expose ou weaknesses at all. Credit where credit is due we played well and largely didn't allow them to play their own game
-
I disagree with that. For me Holmes did **** all yet again. No idea why he was moved to the right, madness I agree, but he deserved to be subbed. McClaggan did brilliantly when he came on and set up the goal. JP was right to sub Smith - ****e yet again IMO, and he took Patterson off as he was quite clearly tiring. For once JP got it spot on IMO. Also I thought Gobern had a decent game. IMO Euell's first touch is not good enough to play in CM.
-
I have been saying for three or four weeks that we need to play Gillett as he is the best at protecting the back four and he certainly did that well today mopping up lots of second ball and breaking down attacks at his passing and on several occiasions he miscontrolled and took too long on the ball. If he can improve that side of his game then we are in business.
-
you have failed to explain how describing the teams performance makes me delusional. What am I delusional about?
-
did you go in the end?
-
I missed that but with the rumours about the Everton left back coming on loan it would make sense. Why else bring a left back in on loan unless a deal had been agreed for Skacel to leave. Shame as I was warming to him.
