Don't rule out a Brighton-style draw marathon.
-
We could be cut adrift by the end of April.
-
Jesus wept. 35 points with nine games to go is not "just about done enough".
-
Oh to live in a world where anything that isn't a state-owned entity sacking 800 workers on the spot = communism.

Six straight defeats and one solitary goal scored in those six games. I wonder why we dont get the "I told you so, I told you so, Potter is much better than Ralph" victory lap posts on this forum any more. I mean, what happened? Of course, Potter's track record of never finishing above Ralph was obviously pretty clear evidence of how much better he is than our guy. At least he looks on track to maintain that record.

Burnley and Brighton games re-arranged in April
CB Fry replied to Ivan Katalinic's 'tache's topic in The Saints
Don't worry, his entire argument will soon be dismissed by MLG himself with his inevitable "I never said that, I never said that, you don’t comprehend English" routine whenever anyone references what he has said here ever again. As he does every single time any one ever plays back to him anything he ever says. As was said above, an incredibly odd bloke. -

Good job no one else has subsequently quoted you. We'll never know what it said now.

Everton will inevitably win one or two of their "difficult" games. The parasites that have signed for the club will suddenly find the motivation to shine when required. Home vs Man U or Chelsea decent bets. They won't go down, thats not really Lampard's problem. The issue will be when he becomes just another Tim Sherwood next season and they are still 16th next November.

Pretty clear that our players absolutely desperately wanted to win that match at exactly the same level of desire as Watford.
-
Adam Armstrong's self esteem must be sky high.
-
I think more than that. 30 points with nine games left is safe.
-
My analysis is that the Russians just want it more.

Except that's not quite true. It's not unheard of to describe a victory as "....and we barely got out of second gear" or "we did just enough". And the reverse definitely is true when we lose a noble defeat "we did all we can, worked our socks off" etc If effort was an irrelevant metric and everything revolved around skill and technique then surely Mario Lemina would be the world's greatest footballer. As Alex Ferguson said, hard work is a talent. As far as yesterday goes you could see Newcastle playing with a verve and energy that we lacked but that's mainly because they worked us out. We ran out of ideas mainly because of the way Newcastle played.
-
I've no idea what you for for a living but are you saying that your level of effort/energy/commitment is exactly the same on every day you work, regardless of task/challenge/desired result. You've never tried harder or less hard in any situation? Really? I worry that you writing off that notion, that fundamental element of human nature as "lazy" is, in itself, lazy.

Ings = wank Watkins = wank Chris Wood = amazing Clear.
-
I for one am absolutely salivating at the prospect of a Chris Wood / Che Adams goal machine front line. I can see why you look at all the spreadsheets now.
-
So just to recap, one player from Villa would get in our team, but you'd swap out half of our current first team for Newcastle's first team. Got it.
-
Were the Newcastle fans not "demanding it" this time last year, and the year before that when they were terrible? Maybe it is absolutely nothing to do with the fans at all and everything to do with them now being the richest club in the world.
-
Still, at least we can sleep easily knowing that only one player out of the Villa squad would improve us.
-
That lovely rest they all had for the Cup game has done them the absolute world of good.
-
Shane Long is coming on so that means goals goals goals.
-
I've been watching the OVO stream all night (very good by the way) and I still have no idea who the co-commentator is. He sounds so like that Chef who lost loads of weight, Tom Kerridge, that I can't think that it is anyone else. I keep expecting him to start talking about Steak and Kidney pie or something.
-
Shame about hesgoal.com - I think probably the longest running reliable streaming service I've used. To be honest it always amazes me how they stay up as long as they do. Er, so, what's the best one now then?

Were the coaches from Somerset not running that day?
