Fifth, fifth and winning the FA Cup is pretty perfect for a club Leicester's size, Celtic he did very well also, pretty perfect. No one predicted the second place he got at Liverpool, he began the rebuilding. Plus Swansea was pretty perfect as well. He's done excellent work at four clubs in a row. Pretty rare.

But that isn't his level.

My point is as usual you haven't got a fucking clue. Just lazy, TalkSport knee-jerk "they've lost touch with the game, they've got no passion" on the back of 7 whole games into the season. Utter drivel. And then the "he's the messiah" stuff about some assistant manager who has been in place for two entire months. Including being the assistant manager for Friday's debacle. Gee, what an impact he's made with his "passion" and "fresh new ideas". You'd never fucking heard of him at the start of June. So what's your point?

West United finished 7th last season, Leicester 8th but yeah.
-
That doesn't answer the question that was asked. Why would he want to come back here? He doesn't want to come back here. He's not coming back here. Get used to it, it is never going to happen.

Calm down. Fulham can easily go on a terrible run soon enough, like a billion promoted clubs before them. Brighton will not carry on as they are. In contrast WHU will very likely turn things around. The only thing that is certain is we are without doubt a bottom 6 team. What I worry about is we are as capable of finishing bottom as we are 15th.

It's a shame both Roy Evans and Gérard Houllier are both dead because we could have brought one of them in as joint manager.

I've already painted PLEZE LESTER DON'T TAKE RALF AWAY on an old bed sheet

Quite right, those guys definitely deserve a rise.

Of all the choices a government can make to improve the lives of those "most in need", do you genuinely think that removing the cap on bakers bonuses is the most effective choice? Maybe there's other stuff they could do first. As mentioned above, if you think this is all going to be subject to 40% tax like the Christmas bonus in your own pay packet then good luck to you.

Just seen a couple of posters reassessing their Puel period on there so things must be bad.

I wish we could be three nil down.

I don't think the issue the the fans. 3 wins in 18 or whatever it is is an appalling record. That is not the fans fault. We were utterly dreadful yesterday with those supposed fickle fans almost universally predicting a win. Saints being woeful yesterday is not the "problem" of fickle fans. How is it their fault? How about don't be terrible? How about that.

Getting to a situation where we are saying "boy do we miss" a 18 year old with a handful of senior games under his belt points to something of a fuck up in the transfer window.

Rate Saints business in the Summer 2022 Transfer Window
CB Fry replied to Barsiem's topic in The Saints
Anyway, I can't see what signing a striker could possibly have done for us. -
Honestly as a nation we simply must remove the cap on bankers bonuses as soon as we possibly can. Absolutely vital.

You might be to young to remember we had a player called Danny Ings once who scored lot of goals in a shit team. So that's what a striker could have done. -

CB Fry replied to Barsiem's topic in The Saints
Club said we needed a striker, Ralph said "yes" we were getting one when asked before the window closed. We did not get a striker. -
Nice for Prince William, though.
-
Personally I blame the new assistant manager for that performance.

No one posted in the minutes silence 👏 👏 👏

Once you've won the world cup, there's nothing else you can really achieve.
-
The last one being Virgil, which will be five years ago when the January window rolls around.

"Thick" people not understanding what they've signed up to, then taking a hit and then moaning about the consequences that were foreseeable and avoidable? I wonder if that has ever happened before?

Romeo Lavia - Official: Signs for Not Liverpool
CB Fry replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
You'll have to remind me of the bidding war of clubs smashing over the buy back fee for him. The point is Ake has not become a world beating megastar. If Lavia turns out just okay and Spurs and Arsenal fight over him and Man City aren't bothered, then Spurs/Arsenal pay about £40m. Buy back not activated, fine. Perfectly possible. If he becomes a world beater at 19-20 or whatever and the price is £60-£80m, on what planet are Man City walking away from that and just letting it happen. The scenario people are trying to build here is not going to play out.
