  1. I've been to countless football matches alone, I don't think it is a particularly difficult thing to do (accept I am a 40 something white man). I don't know your circumstances but I would say its pretty easy to turn up to a game, watch it and leave alone without anyone even noticing. Especially day time matches if you are worried about safety. You might even meet someone new there. I think you should give it a go - good luck to you.
  2. What if we won the next ten games in a row ten-nil?

    Coronavirus

Ten seconds looking at the tweets relating to that and it is 90% people who otherwise reject mask wearing, and/or question the vaccine, go on about personal freedom etc etc saying that despite all this, they believe that that particular room of people definitely should be wearing masks, all of them, and its a disgrace that they're not. Fucking tiresome hypocrite bullshit.
  4. Quite. And Vestergaard was signed as squad back up for Leicester so its hardly some massive surprise that he's not the first name on the teamsheet.
  5. I don't think Gary Lineker has complete control over the running order of Match of the Day.
  6. Steady on. Forster and also a slightly different backroom staff and we'd have won. Pretty easily.
  7. I think the main takeaway from this match is how much more knowledgeable you are compared to every other contributor on this forum. You, like, know everything.
  8. Minamino is on. But he's absolutely shit so we have nothing to worry about. He won't do anything.
  9. No agree. If we can get to Christmas with twenty points on the board then we are achieving what we can reasonably expect.
  10. Definitely not hindsight to say that team selection was inexplicable.
  11. He'll sort it all out in the half time team talk and you'll see some goals in the second half, that's for sure.
  12. Well, the implication of my original post was that I couldn't understand how that team wouldn't lose easily. And it looks like we are losing easily.
  13. Well, my main worry is we might be three down after forty odd minutes. But feel free to explain it.
  14. hesgoal.com - although really not pleasant viewing.
  15. Keep it tight for the first ten, lads.
  16. I've got to say I don't understand that team but good luck to the lads.

    Factual studies mate. Factual studies.
  18. Somewhere there's a line about the detail on his shoes that makes me laugh out loud. Just wonderful stuff.

You've posted a "factual study" that backs up this assertion below have you? There's a factual, peer reviewed paper (or multiple papers) that set out with verified sources that all the variants don't exist and that every nation on the planet are being "suckered" into believing it. You have factual studies on this do you? Look mate, you're mentally ill. It's fine. People can help you. Remember that you are loved, and if you let people in, you can love others. Go well x x

You're just reading guff from other twats on Facebook and watching videos of the same twats uploading shite on YouTube. We all know you are not, in any way, "examining all angles". Just the warm, comforting blanket of fellow conspiracy idiots telling you want you want to hear. You be you x x x
  21. I will be proud to stand as a candidate who pledges to unite Saints fans. After all, we are all the same, we all have the same dreams, we all want the best for our club. So we should all be united, as one, together. Except the ones that are twats. They can get stuffed.
  22. There must be a new generation of Corbynite/Extinction Rebellion/Avocado-on-Toast Saints fans ready to be the new generation of Chorley style activists. How long before someone glues themselves to the entrance to the ticket office or five of them all lying down in Semmens spot so he can't park his Range Rover?
  23. The only idea Chorley and co ever had was about turning the hospitality area into a all year round club and put local bands on every night. Like this was the money making solution to sustain a top level professional sports club.
  24. Prepare yourself for some nostalgic posts about the glory days of SISA in the replies. In a time of crisis (let's say we get relegated and end up in administration again) then groups will form. But in pretty docile times, with a distant owner, its difficult to see what role a group can really play, beyond being an ego trip for the leaders who just want to get on South Today. You want safe standing? No shit. More affordable tickets. Help for travelling supporters. Local beer in the concourse. Etc etc. There has been periodic chat about the "fan on the board" but unclear really what they truly would achieve. The best case study of the inefficiency, puffed up arrogance and appalling decision making of fan group administration is the story of the Ted Bates statue. Where "being a Saints fan" is the only qualification required for any task. Absolute embarrassment.
  25. The Athletic going big on our clean sheet objective this season, and how we are going about it. Its not something I'd noticed but turns out someone pretends to be injured at the one hour point each match, so Ralph can do a mini team talk and they can all have a rest. https://theathletic.com/2975932/2021/11/24/southampton-hope-fixing-defence-will-help-them-shatter-glass-ceiling-this-is-how-they-have-done-it?source=user-shared-article
