He sounds so like that Chef who lost loads of weight, Tom Kerridge, that I can't think that it is anyone else. I keep expecting him to start talking about Steak and Kidney pie or something.

If Burnley do enough to get out of it (I'm not sure they will now) then I think Leeds are more likely to be the victims than Everton. Leeds, fundamentally are still an over performing Championship team: now stripped of their manager, the source of that over-performance, they look pretty weak. The injuries they've had have exacerbated that. This new guy could be a Pochettino but he could very easily be a Felix Magath/Carlos Carvahal/etc. Everton, annoyingly have enough quality to cobble together the points. It will be a quite breathtaking achievement for Lampard to relegate them. I'd love it but I can't see it.

I've read the Q&A piece on the Athletic and for a professional journalist to put that up is pretty poor. On multiple occasions he tends to repeat the same point just with slightly different wording. Several times in the piece he makes the same point twice with only some words slightly changed. Like that. I kept thinking the scrolling on my phone wasn't working (haven't I just read that?) but no just repetition. For a piece with short answers it is a poor show. Come on Dan.

Why are you making out that Liverpool will definitely not play Chelsea on their way to the cup? They're as likely as we are to play them. Why do they get to play Palace but we don't? To win the cup Liverpool may have to beat City and Chelsea in the semi and final. The main reason they won't play City is if we beat them, which you are now making out as evidence of an "easy run" for Liverpool. Do you want us to lose just so Liverpool get some harder games?

Agree. If the consensus now is that last nights team was a tactical masterstroke then he could have selected them for Saturday's game against Villa because they are so good and our squad is so strong now, that there's no risk. They would win because Villa are worse than WHU. But by some amazing coincidence he just happened to chose last night to prove how strong his squad is.
