  1. I'd say it generally got used as an indication of a team that could do better, a team with potential. I don't ever remember it being used as a way of comparing us to Watford or Norwich. It's always used as a way of pondering the "what-if" of us not dropping those points and being top half, top eight or whatever. It gets overused by commentators but always from a place of "this team can do better" not "this team isn't very good" Like you say, no one uses it about Watford or Norwich. For good reason.
  2. It is: last season we'd got to 29 points by the 4th January, after the Liverpool win. It took a long time to get another point after that.
  3. What i do know is he is a Forest boy and Forest fan. And I also know that he is giving a perfectly reasonable opinion on MOTD (a manager shouldn't use post-match to have a go at the other teams attitude/approach) because that's what he thinks. And not because wah-wah Spurs lost to that team the other day. Get a grip.
  4. Last match of the season I think.
  5. Jermaine Jenas is a Nottingham boy and Forest fan. He wouldn’t give a flying f**k that Saints beat Spurs. Honestly you people are absolutely insane.
  6. Jesus f**king wept. Get a grip you bunch of absolute fannies. Wah wah wah the media are against us again. This is the same forum who have never, ever, stopped going on and on and on and on about what Brendan Rodgers said about us once, right?
  7. Not worried at all. Our Ralph would have to do something insane like win the FA Cup and/or go on a late season charge to sixth. Which probably won't happen. His recent record is just too average for him to step up to the biggest club in the world. Added to that it doesn't really feel like Rangnick is making the impact at Utd that is going to buy him the authority to put his man in place ahead of getting in the expected "big name" (eg) Pochettino. Lastly, although there have been little video montages of them saying nice things about each other, there's no evidence that the two Ralf/phs have any interest in working together ever again. Especially as our Ralph would drop back down to head coach not top dog. In short, no it won't happen.
  8. Superb stuff. What a week.
  9. Gordon Banks.
  10. Keown: "Southampton are like your worst nightmare because they just don't give up" What a world we're living in now.
  11. CHEEEEEEE
  12. Stephens on for Bednarek.
  13. Just put the bloody flag up. Jesus.
  14. Er, no.
  15. They have won eleven games this season and are top four challengers. Not sure who people thought we were playing today.
  16. BT working hard to get Ralph a job at Old Trafford.
  17. In the seventies you could play eight games a week on mud bath pitches in Steel boots after double egg and chips and twelve pints of mild.
  18. Old school "don't change a winning team" vibes then. Let's see if they have the energy for it.
  19. Too busy lamenting the state of his beloved Toffeemen.
  20. Much like Wednesday I don't expect us to win and have a low expectation of a draw. But I was wrong then and hopefully let's be wrong again. If nothing else there's no pressure on us whatsoever.
  21. Insane signing.
  22. Long way to go. With the cup you're in with a chance up until the point you're not, and our next round is pretty tough. If we get a favourable draw for the quarters (there are a decent number of lower down teams left in) then at least we can dream about another Wembley semi.
  23. Well, at least he can f**king stop going on about her now.
  24. Plenty to go at on pundit build up bingo. And a load of wank about pressing. 9-0 of course plus a load of master vs apprentice stuff in the dug out etc etc. For me, it would be lovely to go undefeated against Manchester in the league this season.
  25. Really jealous of Danny Ings. He had a cracking front row seat to sit and watch a 3-3 thriller vs Leeds. I imagine he's being rested for all those European games they've got to play.
