  1. Do the one about us definitely being relegated this season.

  3. Pretty obvious that if he goes it won't be because we haven't offered him a couple of grand more. If Tottenham want him and he wants to go to Tottenham, he'll go to Tottenham.
  4. Jankewitz has reached Caceres levels of SaintsWeb delusion. For God's sake people stop expecting him to be picked and then being disappointed that he isn't. He's never going to play. Get over it. Genuinely the only way he's ever going to get a game is if the entire remaining first team is wiped out by a freak weather incident, and he's the only survivor. Like in King Ralph.
  5. This is going to be an absolute walk in the park.
  6. Arsenal with both Cedric and Bertrand would be quite something. Arsenal are just sooo Super League, aren't they?
  7. USA is pretty much first past the post as well isn't it. And the Congress system is nuts.
  8. I know you typically write absolute drivel, but this is just ridiculous. With four games to play we already have enough points to stay up in any of the seasons in the last decade, in most seasons 37 would be incredibly comfortable. The bottom three being awful is not a unique thing for this season.
  9. Exactly: PR would have seen Farage and Richard Tice as MPs years ago. PR probably could have resolved Brexit far quicker: in the election of 2015 the UKIP vote share (12%) was miles ahead of Lib Dems (8%) and Sturgeon (5%). And thats with worthless FPTP votes. Under PR would be higher. PR just as likely to wipe out lefties and embolden Right wingers as any other outcome.
  10. I'd like to think that Manchester City have only won the league on the back of us and the other 18 teams dropping more points than they have. It's not really down to anything they've done themselves.
  11. Er, no.
  12. Not really. No one is saying we're never ever going to get relegated. As it stands, next season it looks incredibly likely.
  13. Disappointed to see your absolutely unshakeable belief that Fulham are going to survive at our expense finally be extinguished. My commiserations.
  14. Nah, the best place for them to finish is seventh or lower every year. Don't give them a sniff of attention or glory. One of these years of course they will clamber back up but ten seasons in a row in the lower leagues for them now and that is absolutely wonderful stuff.
  15. But they really are such a massive, massive club though. Just a huge massive sleeping giant of a massive club.
  16. Still in their hands, and plenty of time left. Oxford can win 10 nil and it might not matter.
  17. Happy with that team. 2-0 victory no problem at all.
  18. Blimey. To be fair if they stay up, Rooney is still absolutely dreadful.
  19. It's a good job fans aren't allowed in the stadium because Derby fans would be tearing it down. Absolute madness to stick with Rooney when Steve McClaren is sat picking up a wage in an upstairs role. McClaren ain't no genius but he's organised enough to not lose 8 games out if nine and relegate that team. The ultimate vanity appointment and an absolute disaster. Glum times in Derby.
  20. She'd scream the place down.
  21. Well I am delighted that you now totally accept that red and white stripes is our traditional kit. Great to have you on board.
  22. Except you did. Every time anyone said "but red and white stripes are our traditional kit" you went off with "yes but what is tradition", "70 years ago we wore so-and-so" and "traditions have to start somewhere so this could now be our traditional kit, wait and see". Absolute horseshit, and did plain red become traditional to us? Wrong, completely wrong, as ever, as usual.
  23. Says the man that tried to convince this forum that the plain red shirts that Cortese brought in were now our traditional kit, because no one could say that we wouldn't wear that type of shirts for the next fifty seasons. (Spoiler alert: we did not wear that style of shirt for the next fifty seasons. As every single person knew at the time except Matthew Le God)
  24. It's not really broken, and as others have said it is virtually guaranteed that the replacement would be shite. The only new badge I've liked in recent times is Crystal Palace, which is excellent. But I don't really trust our lot to deliver.
