Here: I know your modus operandi is to say something spectacularly and demonstrably pigshit thick and then just double down on it anyway so I won't repeatedly engage
-
If we're dealing with definitions lets return to the statement you objected to: dealing with the biggest national threat since WW2 Just tell us how those other threats you mention we as big or bigger than Covid. You see i understand the word threat but you're really struggling with the word "biggest".

Did Boris's TV statement announcing a third national lockdown closing schools and most businesses nationally for six weeks remind you of the similar measures taken by the national government during the AIDS epidemic of the 1980s? Because the huge national AIDS threat was just as big as weeny-teeny Covid wasn't it? I know your modus operandi is to say something spectacularly and demonstrably pigshit thick and then just double down on it anyway so I won't repeatedly engage but Covid has plainly been and remains the biggest threat to national life since WW2. Clear, obvious. You wittering absolute horseshit on AIDS is never going to change that unarguable fact.

Cometh the hour, cometh the man. Fraser will be an absolute beast tonight, will stand up and be counted and do himself proud with the match of his life and probably only let in four or five maximum.
-
How many businesses did AIDS shut down? How many millions went on Furlough because of "seasonal flu"? I know you are pitifully thick but have a fucking day off.

8pm address to the nation. Not a press conference so assume the worst. Peston says he's going to say the schools will close, he's usually well briefed. One day into the new term and after days and weeks of saying how safe they were and how the schools must open. Daughter going in for one day just for them to close maybe tomorrow or Wednesday. Utterly pointless when a full lockdown was easily forseen and here we are. Just breathtaking incompetence and exactly the same pattern of behaviour from our Prime Minister over and over again.

I wish we were Burnley.

We could lose all five league matches in January and still have an incredibly comfortable season. We've already got more points now than we had after 21 matches last season. Relegation wise we've got twenty two matches to accrue maybe 9 or 10 points. We are clearly going to do that. The last thing we need is for us to go into a little blip (say, four defeats on the spin) and everyone going into meltdown and panicking about relegation because we drop down to, say, 16th in a very squashed table. It doesn't mean we are anywhere near relegation. Whatever happens we are not getting relegated, it's just a case of us finishing as high as we can.

I had 08:15 in the sweepstake so you were just a tiny bit late with this.
-
It's a disgrace we haven't considered embroidering "#stopthecount" into next season's kit to commemorate that time we did a funny on twitter.
-
Everyone seems to be describing a red and white striped shirt which being we are currently in a non-stripe season seems pretty obvious to me and something anyone, ITK or not, could predict. I'd love it if we gave UA the elbow for next season and replaced with Hummel, that's the only info I'm interested in (it would open up a lovely retro kit for 22-23 anyway).

Absolute must-win if we want to keep our title-winning ambitions on track.
-
Brilliant game for the neutral, though.
-
Here comes the match-winner.
-
Shane Long is coming on so that means goals goals goals.

Onto the cruise ship with you sunshine.

But it's such a brilliant idea that the support from the right influencers in the media will absolutely guarantee the British people will embrace the concept without question. I can already see Julia Hartley Brewer and Toby Young getting right behind the concept, plus the Daily Mail and Telegraph will coin a really snappy name for it. Something like "Joy-boats" or "safety-boats" or "patriot boats". Blanket positive coverage. It can't fail.
-
Let's just put all school children on cruise liners and be done with it.
-
Yes I trawled through that on twitter earlier, interesting stuff especially about the wins on the "defensive" issues for both sides, but at the expense of more valuable wins in "offensive" areas.
-
Like what? From what I have seen the "complexion" of the season is being on track for a good mid table finish. Nothing is going to change that over the next few weeks. People talk about "complacency" but the most complacent thing is threads like this: we have a decent little run and people start twatting on about being champions and getting the hump because we're not maintaining third place week in week out. Mental, and total complacency. We're safe from relegation so let's not start chatting shit about being "dragged into it".

Good to have you confirm for the absolute avoidance of doubt that you are deadly serious about the absolute horseshit you come out with on this particular topic. Useful to have it in black and white for those who like to make out you're just on some awfully hilarious wind-up. You're a freak and good to have it made plain. Thoughts and prayers with you and Merry Christmas.

So tongue in cheek: Do you not take issue with me describing god as a genocidal, sexist, homophobic, rape endorsing deity? I suppose it is all clearly outlined in the Bible so hard to defend the monster as he is described!
-
So tongue in cheek: Which verse in the Bible does it say present giving, eating a turkey roast dinner, putting a tree in a room (tree decorating pre dates Christianity btw), meeting friends & family are exclusively Christian activities?
-
Leicester are a whole 3 points ahead of us.

What did you think we were going to achieve this season? We're at best a mid table side and we're well on track to achieving that aim.
