They need to stop moaning and start buccaneering.

The Rupert Lowe era "S" branded own-label kits must have been like living through some kind of crazy dream for you.

https://www.itv.com/news/2021-01-18/150000-british-sellers-on-amazon-and-other-online-marketplaces-hit-by-brexit-charges Loads of stories like this around. Small businesses British people have built up being fucked over in the name of sovereignty. I'm sure the "patriots" on here will sympathetically tell folk like this that it's their own fault they had loads of time to prepare. When those economic forecasts were being written (by government departments) that this kind of outcome would hit GDP and growth, this is what they were getting at. Just the compound impact of small impediments that makes it harder for businesses to do business. No grand stand-off, no showdown. Just the drift away of custom and opportunity.

It's fine to have not liked the Denmark style kit (I remember my old man hated it) but lord knows why you had to write nonsense about Coventry: they had that style kit at the exact same time as us (as did Villa). Our kit was no more a version of the Coventry kit than the other way round. Football kit manufacturer uses template shock horror.

Nah. He's a long way from being a nailed on part of the squad. If he's not regularly playing and regularly scoring then he'll easily slip down the pecking order. Southgate's default position is to go for younger players.

It's not me twisting anything. "We’ll sell this summer whether Ings wants to leave or not" is exactly the same as I am saying. We can accept a bid, and Ings can accept that we're skint and he accepts to move on. It doesn't mean he wants to leave. In human world, where humans live, thats a fairly normal course of events in football and in life. No idea why you are twisting it to him being "forced" to do things "against his will". You've done more twisting than Chubby Checker my old son.
-
Show me where I said anything about him "refusing" to do anything. I'm not talking about refusing, and you are, plus using words like "forced". Read what I've actually written. Life is abit more complicated than your little computer games.
-
But we can sell him, he can "not want to leave" but still go. All those things can be true.
-
Ings doesn't have to "want to leave" for us to accept a bid, and for him, in turn, to accept that and move on.

Fantastic to see representatives of our previously oppressed fishing communities driving around Whitehall to celebrate their release from the EUSSR Jackboot and the opportunities to sell worldwide as part of buccaneering global Britain. I believe it is called the Sovereignty Celebration Parade to Parliament or something. https://www.devonlive.com/news/devon-news/live-protest-london-devon-brexit-4899170

They probably asked for the polyester to be vegan or something.

Absolutely fantastic news. I doubt they will start with the Danish kit (assume just a standard stripe next season) but that's got to be coming, maybe 22-23.

The risk is the Republican Party/Movement will end up in a similar bind to the Labour Party here. Factional split between those supporting the totemic "messiah" figure that a sizeable branch cannot let go of, versus moderates/conventional politicians trying to move on. Could destroy them for a generation. At least their totemic messiah figure did actually win. The "glorious victory" for Labour's messiah figure was, er, a resounding election defeat in 2017. USA Politics will continue to be interesting.

That's funny because I was under the impression that the Liberal lefties etc were the snowflakes who can't deal with free speech and other people's opinions? Suddenly its the Trump supporter based that need to be molly coddled because someone nasty might hurt their precious feelings. Absolutely fucking laughable. Have a listen to Steve Bannon and Co and Fox News and everyone else on that side of the argument in the eight years before your hero rocked up. I'm not entirely sure they remained silent following the presidential elections of 2008 and 2012.

and Wikipedia says 2 o'clock anyway. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2021_storming_of_the_United_States_Capitol Just after 2:00 p.m., windows were broken through, and the mob breached the building and entered the National Statuary Hall.[4][64][160][161] As rioters began to storm the Capitol and other nearby buildings, some buildings in the complex were evacuated.[63

Even if that is on some technicality true (some isolated nutcase) it is not an accurate indicator of what happened. The counting/certification of the votes session started in the Senate at one o clock and went on for a while before it all kicked off, they'd got into the debate on the objection to the Arizona results etc etc. The trouble started later in the afternoon, long after Trump’s speech had finished. I don't need Wikipedia to tell me anything, I had the TV on while it unfolded.

I made my own Porsche out of three potatoes, two rubber bands and just a little bit of what used to be known as elbow grease, gumption and old fashioned hard work. But you say that to young people today and they don't believe you.

We're getting dragged into it.

What i didn't realise yesterday was that Rashford yesterday actually had a conference call with Chartwells telling them his view and to get things sorted. A twenty something footballer on the day of a game. So Conservative-donating big business works out a way to deliver less than the bare minimum to maximise their return on their contract awardedwith view of feeding the most vulnerable in a pandemic. Chartwells have apologised, offered refunds and to investigate with schools/LEAs. The schools minister spoke with Chartwells yesterday and told them to get things sorted. But on the other hand, partisan right wing website runs a smear hit-piece because that Rashford needs fucking taking down a peg or two so let's implicate him in the blame for something he had absolutely nothing to do with. So yeah. Two sides to every story.
-
Typical Guido horseshit. If there's two sides to the story why did Chartwells apologise? And now Marcus Rushford is now accountable for Chartwells output? Not the Sovereign Conservative government handing out contracts to them, or the leadership of Compass/Chartwells who have links and a history of donations to the Conservatives long before Rushford turned up. Maybe they are actually responsible for this. But yeah. Everyone's favourite tax dodging drink driver Guido decides to make the story about the young black guy.

So a bit disappointing that all that money i saved on fish earlier today I have now lost on my new Ford which is going up in price due to the cost implications of the rules of origin rules our sovereign independent government have brought in. https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/industry-news/ford-fiesta-st-and-puma-st-prices-rise-“due-brexit” Still, no downsides, just considerable upside.

She has been very clear that we are, in fact, in a pandemic.

It was my understanding that they'd already gone out of business several times, but still: https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2021/01/12/deutsche-bank-reportedly-will-not-do-any-future-business-with-trump.html?__source=sharebar|twitter&par=sharebar&__twitter_impression=true

Fantastic news on Scottish Fish. Looks like prices on some fish coming out of Peterhead are now 80% cheaper. This is great news and I guess means that the nation's favourite fish and chips will be cheaper saving money for the great British public and a massive two fingers up to the backward facing and red-tape obsessed EU. Yum yum cheaper fish in my tum. Fantastic Brexit bonus, well done to all concerned. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍💰💰💰💰💰💰🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

Sovereign government makes sovereign rules with complete independence and sovereignty. Other sovereign nations apply those rules and what a surprise it's all Johnny Foreigner's fault. As anticipated many times: the leavers pretending they want independence and sovereignty but too gutless to ever accept the responsibilities that come with that. As the old song goes: "Always the victim, it's never your fault."
