  1. Just got home after a long day. Absolutely fantastic. Tactically brilliant from Russell Martin. He has absolutely stepped up this month. Although we were all nervous for the whole game, we didnt need to be - Leeds didn't offer that much, because we stopped them playing. Front to back the team worked so hard and we will need that next year. In the frickin Prem. Well done Saints.
  2. Fair play the trophy you get looks absolutely massive
  3. You'll be pleased to know I made it! Thanks Green Flag and a tyre garage in Rugby....
  4. The point was people saying our relegation was "inevitable" when it wasn't. It was a result of decisions made.
  5. CB Fry fans will be interested to know my car has broken down on the M1 south on the way to Wembley. Just stood in the rain watching the Leeds coaches and cars with scarves fly by. 😫
  6. .....so the only course of action Sports Republic could possibly take is to sack Ralph and replace with Nathan Jones. The only players they could sign were the ones they did. Do me a favour. Businesses, leaders make choices. You might well think SR are all simply marvellous but the point is relegation was not "inevitable" it was a result of decisions made by Sports Republic who had, let's remember, arrived 7 months before that season started.
  7. Fuck knows what slam dunk point you think you are making. Sports Republic inherited a club with Ralph Hasenhuttl. They didn't inherit a hypothetical football club that you've made up in your own head.
  8. Yeah, let's just call that horseshit. Nathan Jones was appointed and won one in eight and fucked our entire season. Appointed by Sports Republic. Selles finished the job, appointed by Sports Republic. With a squad assembled in the summer and January transfer windows by Sports Republic. Not Gao, Sports Republic. In January 2022 we were higher placed in the league than (for example) Fulham, Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest. What we had "sown" was a Premier League club with a Champions League experirenced manager. That's what SR inherited. What we then "reaped" was finishing below all three of those teams (and every team) in the league by May '23. Because of decisions made by Sports Republic on playing and coaching staff - they sowed it, we reaped it.
  9. Sports Republic took over in January 2022 so that squad was their squad, on their watch. Their decisions. Their decision on sacking the manager, their decision on the replacement (and his replacement).
  10. Where are you getting "inevitable relegation" from? It wasn't "inevitable" at all. It was caused entirely by decisions made by Sports Republic. In thr summer, in December in January window, all them, all of it. You can't start pretending they turned up snd saved us when they put us in the shit in the first place. Not inevitable. Enough with the bullshitting, thanks.
  11. Well done Jason Wilcox 👍👍👍
  12. Thanks to Rishi it now looks like it is going to fucking piss it down tomorrow. What's our record like in the rain?
  13. Genuinely should have been singing this all season.
  14. https://x.com/henrywinter/status/1793702986897633535?t=PD-2wgI3qwh10nWeARFSDg&s=09 If we don't go up this is quite good news for forward planning aways.
  15. Not sure "incredibly well" is accurate. Did a reasonable job of doing the siege mentality "they're all against us" thing but his performance was ropey outside of that. He was bloody dreadful the season before as well.
  16. When I was just a little boy I asked Flynn Downes What should I be Should I be Pompey Should I be Saints Here's what he said to me Wash your mouth out son Go get your father's gun And shoot the Pompey scum And support the Saints We hate Pompey We hate Pompey
  17. If we don't go up I guarantee that FourFourTwo will have us winning the league in their season preview.
  18. Nil nil seems the most unlikely scoreline.
  19. Just got in from work and inded it was. True story. I'm fascinated by the decision to make them the size of a bedroom door but Wembley obviously know what they are doing.
  20. My ticket is definitely going to be delivered tomorrow.
  21. Is it a security/crowd management thing that one club get paper tickets and one club get digital tickets? Or did we and Leeds just choose differently?
  22. Because angelic Flynn and Jack and Jan and Ryan never ever kick anyone and play the whole match like a game of Victorian Lacrosse.
  23. You chose not to buy a ticket but are still moaning about it, you didn't "end up ticketless", you chose not to buy one. You are not a passive victim, you made your own decision. I bought a ticket at least 24 hours after your purchase window opened and got a decent seat, not "scraps from the table". For someone berating others you have been posting multiple times about how hard done by you are on this topic. It's not life and death mate.
  24. There is a small possibility that Wembley have managed a situation like this before.
  25. We're run by a vacuum cleaner salesman who decided to flog £20 memberships for one match. Of course he's going to pick a kit they can clear out of their stockroom ahead of the Puma switchover. We don't buy success, we sell overstock of shirts #wemarchon
