Although we were all nervous for the whole game, we didnt need to be - Leeds didn't offer that much, because we stopped them playing. The point was people saying our relegation was "inevitable" when it wasn't. It was a result of decisions made.

Selles finished the job, appointed by Sports Republic. With a squad assembled in the summer and January transfer windows by Sports Republic. Not Gao, Sports Republic. In January 2022 we were higher placed in the league than (for example) Fulham, Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest. What we had "sown" was a Premier League club with a Champions League experirenced manager. That's what SR inherited. What we then "reaped" was finishing below all three of those teams (and every team) in the league by May '23. Because of decisions made by Sports Republic on playing and coaching staff - they sowed it, we reaped it.

Sports Republic took over in January 2022 so that squad was their squad, on their watch. Their decisions. Their decision on sacking the manager, their decision on the replacement (and his replacement).

Where are you getting "inevitable relegation" from? It wasn't "inevitable" at all. It was caused entirely by decisions made by Sports Republic. In thr summer, in December in January window, all them, all of it. You can't start pretending they turned up snd saved us when they put us in the shit in the first place. Not inevitable. I bought a ticket at least 24 hours after your purchase window opened and got a decent seat, not "scraps from the table".
