Liquid football.

If we play like this for the rest of the season we'll be fine.

All over them.

The magic of the FA Cup. Let's show these Premier League big boys what we can do in our back yard.
-
Cortese had the chance to do a Leicester. Leicester came up, finished 14th and then won the league. We came up, finished 14th and then didn't win the league, all of that under Cortese. Leicester didn't have some masterplan, it just happened. They then got a huge windfall from that.
-
At full time I just want the lads to learn the lessons from this.
-
Not really. But caring whether Ipswich beat Palace or not or WHU lose to Leicester or not is irrelevant. Other clubs are all not going to lose their way to our survival. We need maybe 29 more points from the 25 games left. If we get that we will stay up. We won't.
-
Thankfully we make up for it in defensive solidity.
-
Didn't watch it but I see 31 "goal attempts" for West Ham today even though they lost. In the entire month of November Saints have managed 36 "goal attempts" in total across the four matches we played. Obviously we are much more brave though.

When will these clubs ever learn that chopping and changing managers does not work?

They've been doing stuff like that for minimum 25 years. Minimum. -

Keeps him in a fucking job until January then. -
You'll have to remind me what was "much worse" than a rape joke on Shooting Stars.

What about Bednarek staying on the pitch vs Everton or the wafer thin VAR in our favour in the same game? You've taken those gained points off as part of your calculations right?

The Starmer Years - Can The New Broom Sweep Clean?
CB Fry replied to sadoldgit's topic in The Lounge
It was available to "everyone" as the "everyone" in this case was existing pupils of that school at the point it went private to the end of their education. Part of the process of converting to a fee paying school. Kier Starmer wasn't singled out and not under his control what the school and the council did while he was there. -
In the very first match our player managed to get a Newcastle player sent off meaning we got an entire half against ten men. Enough of the persecution complex, we're a weak squad appallingly coached/managed. Russell Martin's performance vs Leicester was a disgrace, he threw the game away.

"Your theory". Jesus fucking wept.

We don't need to do this again. One of my fundamental roles on this forum is when I see someone giving it large on here and claiming to be proved right on stuff he apparently said 18 months ago....my role in that is to say in my view you haven't been right about anything and that you're full of shit.

We are relegated. We are a PL club. And one that someone can have a crack at and be a PL boss for (say) 24 games, more than half a season. Risk free. Being relegated won't be that guys fault, he'll be taking over from one of the absolute worst dog shit managers in the history of the league.
-
Some people on this forum will make out that a) there is no one better anywhere and b) no one wants to come to us anyway in every scenario the club would ever find itself. We're a Premier League club currently employing one of the worst managers this division has ever seen. a) yes of course we can get better than that and b) of course managers would take a Premier League job
-
He was and is miles better than Martin and has achieved more than Russell Martin ever has.
-
When we got rid of Ralph it was obvious we could get someone worse. Ralph, overall, did a terrific job in tough circumstances. He'd run out of steam and it was right to sack him but entirely possible his replacement could be worse. None of us knew quite how much worse. It's ridiculous to compare to this situation. Martin is appalling, he's already worse than Mad Nathan anyway. A single win in 13 is appalling on all levels. He's not fit to lace Hasenhuttl's boots and the comparison is nonsensical. Our scenario now is like replacing Felix Magath or Bob Bradley or Frank De Boer, the dog shit of the dog shit. The dregs of the worst managers in the league's history.
-
No idea. Not my job. And I'm not naming names just for you rubbish them. What I want is our current manager, already one of the worst managers in the history of the Premier League, to leave immediately. We lose nothing if he goes because he is fucking dreadful.
-
How about we sack Martin and then you can grin and bear that? We're relegated anyway now so it's all about next season.
-
Sheffield United won again. Them sacking their manager on 5th December last year continues to pay dividends. As a wise person on this forum said in regard to SUFC "everything that happened before the new manager was appointed is irrelevant". That could be us. Yes relegation is secured - but a bright future and an irrelevant recent past is in touching distance.
