  1. I've heard he's still looking for his gravy boat despite opening all six cardboard boxes that his missus had written "Kitchen" on the side of.
  2. Seems an awful long way from the wailing on here a year ago about us letting Cork go there and how we'd strengthened our rivals and how they now would be finishing above us etc etc etc. A club can fall, and it can fall quick.
  3. The only way a Fanzine could work these days would be if one person or a group of people got together with a clear sense of humour and a bloody-minded approach to content. It would need to be very funny and capture the essence of being fan. The very last thing anyone with that mindset would do is run a survey to find out what people want. To stand a chance and independent fanzine would need to be totally independent and have some sense of the counterculture. And even then it would probably still fail because print is a medium in serious and terminal decline. Just make it funny or don't bother.
  4. Yes, it is, isn't it.
  5. You seem to be confusing Liverpool Football Club and Liverpool, the city. From everything he said at the time of leaving us, it's safe to assume he wants to live in that area come retirement.
  6. Fascinating. Corbyn will never be Prime Minister.
  7. I'll stick with never, cheers. He will never be Prime Minister.
  8. Right on cue.
  9. As far as I can see the nobheads are those getting themselves into a lather about people using the word "never" on a fu cking football forum and then instigating retarded bets about it. Corbyn will never be Prime Minister.
  10. Even in the desperately pointless world of Internet forums, your last few posts on this thread have been utterly pathetic. Let's all have a bet on what shi t you come out with next.
  11. Except the person offering up pointless bets left right and centre.
  12. Why not read the other words in my post as well.
  13. I have zero interest in making Internet forum bets with anyone, but it has been very amusing watching you wave a fictional twenty quid about and expecting people to put up a hundred pounds in return. He will never be PM, and it's clear you agree with me. Take care now.
  14. What? He will never be Prime Minister, get over it.
  15. Fair to say all these chickensh it bets you keep offering people can only tell us that you don't think Corbyn can ever be Prime Minister anyway. So, fair play for reducing the already pointless exercise of laying bets with complete strangers on Internet forums down to an even more pathetic level than usual. Well done.
  16. Yep. A bit like the Clyne stories last year, I'm happy to accept this as a leak just to counter accusations from the fans that we're not trying to keep him. I am sure we are trying to keep him of course, and his agent may also now be realising that the offers from CL clubs are not as concrete as he once thought - so it may still be the case that our extension offer is the best he can do. After all, Victor is a good player but he's not a genuine Champions League level elite performer like what Winston Reid is.
  17. Or, the speculation is at an almost identical level to Wanyama, who we haven't sold either. But yeah, no player says "top four here we come" than the likes of Winston Reid.
  18. The unstoppable March to number 10 continues apace. He's going to be Prime Minister, you know.
  19. I thought West Ham were one of the clubs who were clearly INVESTING IN THE TEAM, not like the tight fisted, scrimping and saving bargain basement skinflints that run Southampton Football Club. Saints only sign dirt cheap players from the bargain bin like Virgil and Clasie for £12m and £8m while West Ham actually show real intent by actually splashing the cash and signing players like Payet and Agbonna for proper money like £10m and £8m. I wish we were West Ham.
  20. More fake than Jodie Marsh's knockers.
  21. Let us know the charity your thousand pounds is going to. It's a brave gesture and we've disagreed on a few things but I respect your commitment so well done.
  22. You've put the grand up then. Fair play to you.
  23. WBA were terrible on Saturday but they won't be among the three worst, plus points in the bank (if they win three more games, Swansea need to win six) plus the reliable old Pulis factor. If he suddenly strops out like he did at Palace then yeah, maybe, but can't see that.
  24. Austin will be introduced into the first team in the way that egg whites are introduced into a soufflé.
