Not panicking whatsoever. I've said we'll finish bottom five all season and stay up and nothing happened yesterday to change that, especially as Reading and Wigan failed to capitalise. We will do enough to stay up. Why all this talk of relegation? I thought the forum experts said we were definitely going for tenth?
-
Not sure what ten years you mean as but we weren't involved in a relegation tussle between the 1998 great escape and our relegation under Droopy six seasons later. Between those points solid mid table. Until the Luggy/Wiggers/Droopy debacle we had become an established mid table team. It's only under the Cortese regime where we have reverted to our early/mid nineties role of being perrennial relegation strugglers.
-
Yeah. Like that would have happened. Can just see the demolition of Saints five year old football stadium being waved through a Southampton City Council meeting. Just a simple rubber stamp exersize. Breezed through it would have. Christ. Seriously you are one of the biggest fantasists on this forum.

How dare anyone say we can't finish tenth etc.
-
So it's about staying up now? Interesting. Two weeks ago the general spaz web view was... "how dare you say we can't finish tenth of course we can finish tenth I can't believe the attitude on here we're well on for tenth especially as West Ham, Newcastle and everyone else above us is rubbish and our form has been brilliant if you only count the games we've won and of course of course we can finish tenth. We can definitely finish tenth" ...so why are you bringing up relegation? The rest of us have moved on from that. It's called "The Project" you know. Relegation aint part of it. Although, neither is finishing tenth to be honest. That's sh it and the kind of pathetic acheivement that West Brom do. Rubbish. Anyway. Get with project and stop mentioning relegation. Bringing us all down.

Not that "far fetched" after all then.
-
QPR have "let Redknapp manage" and lets see how that pans out. Lowe is far from the worst thing to happen to the club. But I am not getting into it. Sent from my GT-I9100P using Tapatalk 2

Don't you think meetings like that have happened at all clubs in admin all the time. Luton. Coventry.Bradford. Whoever. They've all got their "24 hours from oblivion" story. We would never have gone under. Nowhere near.
-
Have a look at Le Tissiers contributions post summer 1997 and think again. Matt didn't do much, and certainly did not "keep us up" by himself in any of those seasons. Lowe kept us up in the post Le Tissier era. Nice attempt at myth making though.

Delighted I got some emoticons out of you. Your previous effort sadly lacking.
-
...does the article say different? You're the one bringing irrelevent third parties into it.
-
One more thing. Fascinating that, despite there being many replies already on this thread, not one of them is accusing the Mirror of being "lazy journo scum making it all up". So much for the noble quest for the holy truth on this forum. What happened? Ah yes. Bad news about another club. So definitely true then.

I used the words "paranoid schizos" to describe forum nutcases the other day. Here's another example.
-
Mind games by who (and for who) exactly? This forum never ceases to amaze.
-
Laughable horses hit. Still doing the "they've got away with it" fantasy I see.
-
QPR to win clearly not the "worst prediction"of the season. Perfectly plausible when you consider our woeful form and slide down the table. Saints can beat Man City in a one off game but cannot possibly lose to QPR? Riiiight. Secondly, why would Lawrenson go into "meltdown" if QPR get relegated? Lawrenson cares about them as much as he cares about us. Not at all. Not in the slightest. There will be no "meltdown". This forum: home of paranoid schizo nutcases since 2007.
-
The good news is he's predicted West Ham to lose this week, and West Ham seems to be the only thing the spanners on this forum are obsessed about more than Mark Lawrenson.
-
Fair enough. Nice to hear.
-
What about Pardew and Morgan? Have I missed something?
-
For once, completely agree. Big clubs want Shaw. Of course they do. And he will go one day. And we move on.
-
No. Why? Keep hanging round those training ground car parks. Any news on these holes then? Thought not.
-
Where are these holes then? I know you put yourself up as a Saints "insider" to no great effect, but this is entirely a Chelsea story and I know for a fact you know jack sh it about them. So hole me up. Which bits?
-
For a start Morgan is not "the longest serving Saints player to date" by any measure, anywhere. You really are special.
-
That claim was posted by an obvious forum troll. Redknapp clearly not an all time great. But by the same token he is not the fraud/failure/etc some on here like to claim.
-
You do realise half this forum have been spunking on about how we're going to finish tenth/twelfth/etc, don't you? So there's plenty already convinced we're safe already. And Wow all you like. Hit thirty on Saturday, and we're on to two more wins from ten to seal it. I personally think we are capable of that. That okay with you?
