  3. Last night Sholing Tech school had their annual academy awards eve for the pupils. AAP3 sponsored one of the awards which was to come up with a report to whom the best player was last season based on stats etc and an IPAD was offered to the winner which was my son. Adam Lallana and Frazer Richardson were there to hand out the awards to everyone who won last night, the 2 lads were very good with all the pupils and parents and stayed for till everyone had autographs and photos, many thanks to the lads.
  4. Not surprised, a mate of mine who works as an insurance investigator into fraud says this has been going on years and is very organised with Doctors, garages, gangs etc all in on the act and its getting worse. You can guess who the worse culprits are. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/money/cars/article-2217921/Whiplash-map-UK-Birmingham-55-worst-districts-making-claims.html

  8. There is a dispute between the Architect and the club hence the stoppage on site. Its a real mess, the Architect was originaly employed by the club and was on insistance from the club employed by Leadbitter. Saints want to change/sack the Architect. Its a real mess and hearing from Leadbitters management team working for Saints is prooving to be very difficult. To many details to go into here but it looks like Saints don't seem to have any idea about building contracts. The QS working for Saints is having a nightmare sorting this out.
  9. Public sector procurement screw up again, if i did this in with my company i would be down the road big time
  10. Anyone from Leabitters available, they are the principle contractor for this project
  11. Stone age country with stone age mentality. Will we ever learn from history that this country will never change. How about splitting the place in half, brick in one half. You get choose if you want to be like the Taliban and get bricked in never to come out and if you screw up on the nice side then you get to go in the bricked up side a bit like escape from new york. Would keep brickies employed for a while
  12. Bet he's got a long record and should have put away for a long time previously. Some people just can't function and should always be banged up. No amount of rehab would sort this guy out
  13. Great day out at lords. Made up 4 saints. Nice banter between fans
  14. Type 21 HMS Active was built at Woolston and then fitted out at the ship repair yard over the river on the town side. My dad was a sparky for VT and a lot of our family worked at both yards and Porchester. VT consistently built ships quicker and better than the northern yards and it was only politics that stopped them from getting more orders. I also remember the luxury super yacht Abdul Aziz that ship repairs fitted out, all the families got on board to have a look when it was finished.
  15. Listened to the last 5 overs on Yorkshire radio on the net. They were so cock sure of winning. Thanks hants for making up my day after saints letting me down
  16. 3 days till we go home. It's been great beating the Germans at their own game.morally it's wrong but hey we have been getting screwed over by the rest of Europe for years.
  17. Round 2 tonight, looking forward to stitching the krauts up again
  18. Fantastic morning, beat the Germans at their own game of getting towels on the loungers today. I collected towels from 30 Brits and laid them out last night. So funny getting up early and watching perplex Germans and Russians not being able to get a lounger, they are royally miffed. Serves them right as most of them don't use the beds till midday
  19. Religion is used to control the masses, history tell us this over and Over again. Problem with Islam that it just has not moved on and is preached in a fair few countries where there is very little education to create a Balance between theology and science
  20. For those of us in Bulgaria on hold it's on Deima National tv
  21. Sat by pool in bulgaria and have told the wife if this goes ahead I will run round the pool naked
  22. 2nd BT Worse company i have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. We were building an extention at home and needed BT to disconnect the overhead line as it was holding up the build. They never turned up so i did it myself and pulled it back to the telecoms post over the rd using my climbing gear. 3 months later they turned up to do the job. Also tried booking a new line with them, hopeless. They never turned up twice so 2 days lossed from work and then charged me. I got them to repay in the end but it was a nightmare dealing with them. To date Sky and Virgin have been very good. Minor problems sorted out quickly
  23. I threatend them with the small claims court. Basically the money covered my costs for days off and a ferry fee as the delivery was for our chalet on the IOW. I have sent emails before to CEO,s where their company has let me down. Once got a years free gold service from British gas for complaining for again not turning up to do work when agreed.
  24. I recently complained to Argos as they failed to make a delivery. First offer was £40 which was refused. I sent an email to the CEO and got a cheque for nearly £300 two days later. If you do get poor service fight them and don't give up
