Where he inherited a team that was actually pretty chock full of decent players. Yes he did his usual flurry of transfer deals and landed some other good players, and the team performed, but the base situation was one which many managers would have loved.

Hindsight is wonderful. Plenty of people, me included, said he was decent and did his best but made a few too many mistakes. These did cost goals and some occurred when he had a run in the team (before this season). At the start of this season he made a couple more mistakes, but absolutely agree he has come on a long way, has cut out most of the errors and looks a much more solid player. Well done Maya and RK no doubt

Yes me, who secured the dizzy heights of likey love-in triumph by simply turning out for a beer and a chat several times with said Bear-slaying Lou. I know a couple of bad ones.

A lot of gender bias on here re. the genital hair shaving / itching / maintenance issues. Sexist thread needs to be combined maybe. Or, with Bear at the helm and several others secretly lusting after other posters perhaps I should not push it..
