  1. You not planning any banter or light hearted chat on this one Lou? Think Katalinic has set the benchmark already
  2. On the flip side, I was made up when I met the Green Cross Code man. Really impressive.
  3. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-31925449. "Those who were breastfed for longer scored higher on measures of intelligence as adults. They were also more likely to earn a higher wage and to have completed more schooling." This may explain a lot about some of the posters on here . But is it right? What do you think, were you not breastfed but still smashed your cycling proficiency, sports day and SATs?
  4. Drinking in the atmosphere of those who make it a pleasant drinking trip
  5. My wife told me she was going to change her name to mine, but then didnt. I was not too bothered beforehand, but then intentionally misleading me should have sounded alarms! Kept her name as she worked in her Dad's business, which partly carried their surname in its title, so made some sense, but then I know people who keep one name for professional purposes but legally change their name. Anyway, she ran off with someone else and has recently remarried but again did not change her name. My son has my name and lives with her, so there are three different surnames in their household. Older, yes. Poorer, definitely. Wiser, well I hope so.
  6. Top man. First saw him when I was at Wembley for the St Johnstone Trophy , Luton v S****horpe. Brilliant game, won 3 -2 by Luton in extra time and Nigel could not have been better in defeat, was very complimentary about Luton and very upbeat about S****horpe's league campaign, despite the obvious disappointment. An absolute gent.
  7. Swansea the better team first half but messed up chances and some good saves. Like us yesterday
  8. Great result, goal #16 for Seager
  9. Let them eat cake! As someone in overfed hospitality shouted at me and my mates (in the not so cheap, cheap seats) at the cricket once
  10. Did not realise that they had only won 4! Burnley have won 5 with a fraction of their resources and experienced players. Think we know whether Gus can keep up.
  11. This will be my 4th time. Just saying
  12. Forgiven, provided you come along as Uma Thurman
  13. I have staked £1000 on at least 12 people saying yes but only 4 showing up. Got 1-3 on.
  14. Where do I fit in to this stereortypical trashy ****e US tv soap thingy then? Am I to be the hapless victim caught in the crossfire, or the heartless perennial jailbird Perp?
  15. I am no expert in roadies, but that is a nice looking ride!
  16. Totally agree. Has really improved over the last few months and still more to come I am sure, but is our most dangerous player for the opponents to worry about
  17. I assume you will be seriously hoping Coxy puts up a very vigorous defence to being set upon. Given your previous posts about the *difficulties* of attending matches with Mrs S
  18. A reminder that junior Bucks will be with me this time, he being a couple of years younger than not-so-junior-anymore-Pap offshoot. Assuming this is ok with the acceptance criteria set down by the SWF Lounge pre match drinks committee of course
  19. Lol. Still to play us at home too. #gonebutnotforgotten.
  20. Inconsistent though. I really like him and he gets a decent number of goals, when he is in the mood - which seems to be 2/3 of the time. In other games he can really go missing
  21. This. Mane gets better and better this season for me. Forster excellent though a question mark over their goal.
  22. I thought we (well, Pap and I at least) had already agreed the Burnley meet up CL? Obviously a better turnout is hoped for but I will not be holding my breath.
  23. Well done Les Reed and team. Welcome Ross
  24. Judge. Jury. Executioner. Stunning lack of self awareness.
