Fair points. Peer pressure would be the answer, which will come only if most agree its out of order. How we get there is another thing. Personally I have never heard any though

"We moved the ball so quickly, one and two touch passing in fast breaks, Derby could not cope with us". Perhaps the first team need to watch this again, to remember that they used to do that too

The BBC news piece earlier suggested that in future, clubs may take action against fans chanting sexist stuff, including being removed from the ground or a ban. I am not defending it, but thousands of people call the referee a wonker every week without any action, so it would be very odd to be hauled out for shouting get your tits out

Too true but I dont think there is a National Association of Fat Folk to go to for a quote

Try telling that to all those " it's a done deal, he is definitely going" people during the January window -

Similarly I remember Elia on the right for his two goals v Newcastle. Yesterday he was poor but when he had a chance to go past his man, on the left, he kept turning inside to use his right foot. -

Pardew: "We should have had a penalty as well. I think Martin Atkinson should have given a penalty, Jose Fonte was going through the back of people all night." Hmmm, picking on a player he knows well. Cant think why -

Picking up where UEFA left off - ruining a decent cup competition -
Ditto. All is forgiven for Chelski (temporarily of course) and so that extends to JT for today only. Brilliant win

I have seriously disliked Chelsea for many many years. I used to get top level hospitality invites for several seasons, including prime CL games, through the previous Chief Exec. These eventually dried up when they realised I was supporting whoever they were playing... Add in the fact that my ex-wife, who lapped up the hospitality of course, is a Chelsea fan these days having been up and down the country supporting Saints prior to becoming a cheating money grabbing *****. Well suited indeed. So, to today, and despite all of the above, it has absolutely made my weekend a lot better to see Mopo achieve his 3rd defeat in 7 days and come away with nothing. **** you Mopo. That is all

You think grown men should roar, at a game? Calm down love.
-
What, like grown men (and women) leaping about and getting excited about a game when they do well? Idiot

Terrible miss

Is this still the Swansea game?

Nathaniel Clyne Joins Liverpool - Official

I dont see many saying its easy, its called having a great manager, a very good scouting / recruitment network, a supportive board AND being prepared to buy players from "smaller" leagues or from a smaller club, because you know, or have seen, enough about them to believe they can make a success of the Prem. Its a risk, but good clubs manage that risk well. The so called Heavyweights do this occasionally, but usually prefer to buy an established quality player from a decent team in a decent league. This means paying a high price, and/or high wages, but they prefer to do this for the low risk it involves. -

Agreed. For now though, until we regularly battle Spanish and German teams, I am happy if we just keep improving against other teams in our little old league -

Yes ok generally. Feyenoord didnt though, under Koeman, despite being skint when he got there. They improved. The point is that he is very used to this happening, and Reed is well versed too, so lets hope we get worse next year like we have this
