No chance of me being complacent - am not planning on being the Man Utd or Liverpool of your likey list. But equally, there are other likey people leaders out there and I may be spread thinly fighting several campaigns.

Meathead.

Take comfort: the second placers so often go on to outperform those that finished above them though. Think CL yes, but dont stop there, try X Factor, or, erm, actually I cant think of any more but you get the gist.

Choked on my 4.30 brown ale and snuff combo reading this

I could never be Pap, much as I would Like to be. I tried to grow my hair like him but looked more like Shirley Bassy. Gutted

Sorry to be late to this one, had all the press enquiries and interviews to do you see. Anyway, where was I? Oh yeah, top baby! Awesome, I never win anything at all, but this is just the best.

Who leads / organises it, or is that the issue, i.e. no one does anymore?

You keep going then. We can pay £120k pw, if we ignore that we will either head for Administration again, or **** off most of the playing squad. Yes, that makes you right. Genius

4 pointless pointlessness 5 WUMs with a lack of self awareness

Where did it say we can pay £120k per week? Is that behind those clouds again?

Look out for those magic carpets while you buzz around the clouds on the back of Porkie

Would be an excellent achievement, end of.

Des Kelly writing in the Standard tonight, ref the video of abuse to Eva C. "I cant repeat the horrible sexist abuse without wearing out the asterix key, but no one should have to put up with this revolting idiocy in a civilised country. Apologists say: Its Banter, innit? Thats a pathetic cop out, its criminal behaviour and should be stamped out"
-
Evening Standard tonight: "Spurs Schneinderlin fear". The summary: Spurs need to qualify for CL to have any chance of MS; Arsenal are monitoring MS closely, who is expected to leave for £25m, if SFC do not finish in the Top 4; MS earns £30k pw now and although Spurs can double that, Arsenal have the financial power to gazump any such offer. The key will be qualifying for CL first. Spurs not able to just raid little old Saints? Oh, bless

Great result Liverhampton. Another replay. On a plus, Liellana played the whole game.
-
But this is not a thread about sexism in all its forms. There is a case for wider debate, but this thread is on a specific type of offensive sexual abuse. To try to put it your way, there is a huge difference between your 20 something son , or daughter, choosing to go on Take Me Out and all that entails, and your 20 something daughter being a doctor, trying to treat a sportsman on a field of play, and being on the receiving end of a mob of men chanting sexual abuse at her. I would be amazed if any parent would treat these two events as the same.
-
I am with you on this completely, and its very worthy of debate, but it is nothing to do with the topic of this thread
-
So you think Take Me Out is as bad / no better than the video clip of the abuse being shouted at the Chelsea physio? One is a game show where everyone knows what is going to happen and no one gets abuse shouted at them. The other one is a doctor treating an injury at a football match being abused by large numbers of men. Wow

We can hope. Will have been noticed by those couple of clubs who might just be slightly bigger than Spurs
-
Think they will be too busy finding a 30 goal a season replacment for Kane
-
I thought this would be a link to some media piece showing how we "rate" on some made up set of measures
-
Lou hats off for starting this thought provoking thread, even if some of those thoughts have turned out to be pretty, er, random. That video clip is bad I agree, and its not on. As I said before though, I have never heard any personally and i have been to West ham, Chelsea, Millwall, Cardiff, Leeds, Cardiff etc. So I think, and hope, its isolated in frequency but if this FA viewpoint and publicity means a start down the road of change, then good

Not sure if we can change it to "La Lineswoman" http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/blogs-eu-31747499
